Yeah I hope so too !!! .. how to make a car last a bout 5 hours huh !!! lol. The main thing is she wasnt hurt this time.

Well as some of you may be a ware or have read last month my other halfs KA was wrtiiten of as some stupid woman pulled out from a side road onto the main road right infront of her and destroyed the little car. After alot of looking and sorting of finances we managed to get hold of litlle run around to keep her going for now, VW Polo 1.9D. Not 1st choice but with time and money agaist us we had no other choice. Any way, we drove up to Cambridge on Friday morning to collect the car, drove back, nice little car to drive, taking it straight to the local garage for a service and MOT. While it was in the garage we poped to Halfords to get her a cheap CD player for it. later that day we went to the garage and picked it up. It had lfied through the MOT with not a single poblem. Took it home i then fitted the CD head unit in, and thank god it was nice and easy. We then hovered it and took it to the local jet wash and gave it a good clean up. That evening after staying at my mums for dinner it was time to go, She decided to go 1st so I could follow her as she hadnt driven it much and was still geting used to the car (now i know that following was the best thing for me in the Supra). We got to the top of the road, she pulled out and i edged forward, just as I pulled out and onto the main road i heard a load crash ... yep it had happened again some Twat had smashed into her !!! The Bloke had pulled onto her side of the road (on comming) to go around the traffic carming island whick was her right of way and he just hadnt stopped. he even tried to drive off so I had to jump infront of him to stop him. Once I got his details he drove off and didnt wait for the police and just left us stuck in the middle of the road To make it worse the tosser has said it wasnt his fault and that she was speeding !!! what a wanker .... sorry to be rude but he has really got to me even thought it was on Friday night. He didnt even say sorry or ask if she was ok after taking her out like that. Looking at the damage in the car it looks like it will again be written off as it has smashed the drivers side wing, the light and bumper and the wheel fell of, breaking the suspension arm and i recon its a lot worse than that. So i think he was the one speeding as he had just come froma 60 into a 30 ! Any way its all going through the insurance now and they recon althought he is saying it wasnt his fault, that coz its on her side of the road and he had to give way that he wont have a leg to stand on, but we may have to take it to court . So the hunt for the 3rd car in just over a month is now on !!!

Very sad. It shows that even the best drivers have to be aware when driving

just need to know do they come a with money back guarantee ??? i have seen similar models of this age that have been in great condition but can be very hard to handle on a Saturday or Sunday morning !!! I also know that some even charge some kind of donation fee or "pocket money" for helping with normal house hold chores... legally where would I stand on that ?
