Seems I have developed a bit of a problem with a smoking exhaust.
This only happens when I come to a stop, several seconds later I get a small light bluey cloud of smoke coming out the pipe. This only happens when stopping and never driving around, it lasts for about 2 seconds and it’s gone and doesn't happen all the time.
It's raised a concern because I have read other past posts on here about a similar problem, but it appears there has been no conclusions, or ones that I can see.
Here are a few things I have done recently that may have caused this.
One, I added a bottle of millers to half a tank of petrol, usually I add one bottle to a whole tank.
Two, fitted an FCD upping fuel cut to 18/19 psi, car runs highest boost to 1.1 bar so well below FC.
Three, had an oil filter change by Toyota and they refilled with Castrol SLX, I had been filling it with Valvoline.
The Supra is on 39k miles at the moment, drives perfectly and smoothly. I also only every run the engine to 1 bar on very rare occasions, in fact I've probably on hit it 4 or 5 times in the last 6 months for a matter of seconds, so this is not a thrashed engine, this is what has me perplexed to be honest.
Any help at all on this would be most appreciated.
Andrew.
