  2. Nope... May as well be though, my girlfriend lives there so i am in Maidstone every night (ish)
  3. Maybe then.... I didnt see any other Supras about ?
  4. May have been me.... Was the plate all numbers ? Black TRD Supra, graphite split-rims with chrome dishes ?
  5. Exactly what i had to do with my MR2 in the end, Make sure its the Toyota OME part the replica ones are a load of S**t and cause everlasting agro
  6. My system has had the TT integrated into the feed from the alarm, not to the alarm! there is no way of getting anything working by using the TT or the loom from the TT. It has been completely isolated from the ignition system. even if the window is knocked the TT is locked out, the alarm sounds and the Imobiliser is activated instantly (the car is dead in the water)..... unlike the crude hand brake method that just a TT on its own uses.
  7. Had a Cobra fitted the other day, the electronics master mind fitted a couple of relays and hey presto, fully armed while turbo timer is still running, try to get in the car and the alarm goes off and the car shuts down and the immobiliser is activated instantly .... no 30 second delay. So it still maintains its CAT 1 certification. Wont plugg them on the site but if you are in the south-east and need a CAT 1 fitted so your turbo timer still does its thing PM me and i will let you know who they are.... Prices are VERY good too
  8. Edge do a specific application in the Power Fc range for the supra TT 6spd even has extras such as launch control and ignition cut rather than fuel cut to stop lean out if you hit the limiter. It's just that i have never had a problem with them in the past thats all..... Problem that i do have is...... Does anyone know of a rolling road that has the software to map the power FC and map it properly
  9. Hi all, What would you say is the best stand alone system, i had an Apex'i power Fc on a couple of cars and it works well, what are they like on a Supra TT and how do they compare to others such as the HKS F Con and Motec etc ? Please add your thoughts

Funny you should say about the FRAM filters, i know it will probably start a huge debate but i have to agree with you here. :kneel: Still, i have had a look at the design on the Mag Power 2 filter and it seems like it may be a step ahead of everyone for the moment

What is the best there is at doing the job for our cars ?
  15. Go BIG.... If anything it puts a Grin on your face
  16. Have an HKS Tripple plate effort, Holds 1000 + BHP, there is NO slip at all, it's the stop and go type that makes you grab your ankles in traffic on the plus side it will soak up everything you can give it and spit it back in your face Cost is somewhere over a grand i think.... Comes with a light-weight fly-wheel though
  17. High Impendence / Low Impendence, Top feed / Side feed????? I have seen loads of posts but is there a definitive answer to what is best, ie: why go for low / high impendence and what are the advantages / disadvantages? Is top feed or side feed better? No other reason than I am just curious as to what the BEST setup is for a Supra regardless of cc, flow rate etc and expected power output…. There must be a reason why different types are made for our cars.
  18. Late evening on Tuesday 12th going up the hill, looked stock other than a touring car wing on the back.... Went off towards Rochester.
  19. Last night, two silver supras, had a sniff round one, auto turbo Jspec and there was another, front end all meshed out not sure what varient it was There were some sweet cars there last night, good turnout.... Some lovely 2 turbos
  20. Correct, is the AC sight glass and charge port
  21. OK this restrictor ring thing is doing my head in. Maybe im a million miles out here but you use the rings to limit boost because the J spec waste gates are not up to the job when both cats are removed ? Well thats the idea i got anyway.... if a waste gate is controlled by an actuator is it not a better and safer modification to fit uprated spec actuators and springs to keep those gates from cycleing too far open (hence the need for the restrictor rings) Sorry, it probably because i'm not 100% sure of the problem..... When i have known restrictors to be fitted before it is just a cheap way of not doing a job correctly. Please enlighten me as im not a T*ss*r, just someone that may not fully get the idea of why everyone is going for the restrictor ring option
  22. Hi, instructions are perfect One thing, oit mentions in one set that the units with a dial pot on the front dont seem to work as well as the auto ones..... Most of the people i know use the dial pot type ! Is there something i'm just not getting here
  23. Anyone know the wire to pin connections for this FCD as i have one too and would like to stick it on but dont know what goes where
