Never been pulled in the MKiv, but only been pulled a few times in my life. And that's a long ol life at 35..

They just quoted my happy £580 including all my mods and an agreed value of £12K I'm 35 Full no claims (Think they put it down as 6). On Drive over night £620 with splitting the payments over the year. Adrian Flux who I was with last year were £620, going to £710 with splitting it across the year. Not agreed value either. Plumb forgot to check that the membership discount had been taken off, will call again tomorrow. I also Spoke to Luke, nice a friendly..

Ok got it sorted. Kwikfits were coolio. Although they do employ some very strange people. One guy didn't have a chin (Looked a little like Beaker from the Muppets). Here couldn't get some locking wheel nuts off. The other guy was about 16 and started yabbering on about Skylines. The boss did my car and there were two bolts missing. On from the decat/exhaust flange. The other was the rear mounting bolt. So my exhaust was only held on by the middle mount and one bolt. Maybe I need to work out more if I cannot even do up a couple of bolts. Still all well that ends well.

Doesn't sound quite right, my MKii & Mkiii never did this. Could it be to do with the TC locking up, but I thought this only happened in O/D, but I seem to remember that 3rd partially locked up. Maybe you are seeing this partial lock up happening when comming out of Manual mode. *** Edit *** Just read the remaining posts, maybe I shouldn't have tried to be serious at all here..

Here are the ones I'd buy to keep the soop company. MKii Celica Supra.. I loved my one soo much. Ford GT40 (More reliable then the new GT me thinks ) Lotus Esprit v8. Loved these since 'The Spy who Loved Me' And another 12 hours in each day to enjoy them.

Oh you don't wanna know.. Thinking of getting one for my Sky + Box too.. So does anyone have another one?

All, I don't think my car likes me coming into work as 5 mins into my journey, I managed to loose a bolt from the exhaust. This is where it meets the decat pipe in the middle. So tomorrow I'm going to be looking for a new bolt and gasket.. Where is the best place to get something like this? Is it work popping into quickfits to see if they have some replacements? Haven't got one, but sounds interesting what's this for?

1) - People who drive with their front fogs on.. Does it make you look cool, I don't think so. 2) - People who drive with their front fogs on in the rain.. grrr 3) - People who drive with their rear fogs on, when it was slightly foggy about two weeks ago.. 4) - Middle lane drivers on an empty road.. 5) - People doing 5mph faster then the middle lane is and pull out in front of me and try to overtake. 6) - People who tailgate while I'm going through a 30 limit. 7) - People having their rear wiper on in the rain.. (Don't know why but it really bugs me) 8) - Black Taxi Cabs. 9) - People who cut in at a junction at the last minute 10) - The two scooters that hum up and down my road all the bloody time. 11) - People who cannot work out that if the line of parked cars is on their side they should be giving way. 12) - Car park spaces that are too small 13) - People who park in a space and put their indicators on. Looking like their looking to pull out. 14) - People who I let out of a side road and are not paying attention. Then it's do I stop and let them go or carry on hoping they didn't just notice and will pull out on me. 15) - Cars that have one headlight out on alignment. 16) - People who don't know who to use a mini roundabout.. Lets all stop and wait for someone else to go. 17) - People who park where they shouldn't (Zigzag lines on a crossing, lets hope it's one of their family that get mown down when the car doesn't see someone on the crossing!!).
