I wouldn't coast in an auto in N, you cannot tow an auto for the same reason. I think putting it in park when you stop is fine, takes the strain off the clutchs, but not while moving.

Had a bit of a back and forth with Adrian Flux and Sky and Sky won. AF first quoted me £620 (£711 after installments) without agreed value. I hate smoking, the smell of it etc, but I don't hate smokers.. Lets get that clear first. As much as I would love to see no one smoking ever again, I cannot see it every happening. If the Gov made smoking illegal, then this would not be the answer. One of two things would happen. 1) Everyone stopped smoking. What camera have you got? Can you google it.

As I said I would have made the C Drive 40GB and the D drive the remainder. Then as in this case, you can blitz the C drive and start again with a nice clean install.

If you click on my computer, how many drives do you see (Not CD's or DVD drives). If you only have a C drive, it's not partitioned.

msconfig does work with XP (Just run it from the Run option in the start menu, but I'd go with there has been a load of apps installed over the year(s) and it's just too many things to start. Hopefully your drive is partitions.. 40GB (It's big, why scrimp) and the rest for your data. Then if you do reinstal windows, you don't risk losing your data.. Good luck.. I hate computers.. Sounds like you have a lot, and I mean a lot of software starting up with the PC. Maybe if you uninstall some of the programs you no longer use it may help. Failing that a full format/reinstall will help thing out no end. Mine doesn't take this long, but I have ~10 icons in the system tray, ranging from my Blue tooth connection to Zome Alarm.

When you get insurance you're asked for the value of the car. Normally you say £12. You then wrap it around a tree and they give you book prices ~£7K ish. Agreed value is you agree with them £12K. Same tree comes up, but you get £12K.. A lot of companies will only give you book price unless you really kick up a stink.
