    bank robbery lol
  14. like it better in red than blue.
  15. how cool is this for a supra with home made parts and ebay cheap parts A friend of mine took his supra to the track sunday and as always he never seems to amaze me. This pass was done with his homemade turbo 400 w/ transbrake and Precision Industries non-lock converter and adapter plate. The car weighs 3400 lbs and is using a standard 76 GTS turbo w/ a "knock off" manifold and 4" homemade exhaust, he is using an AEM and also has 86 lb injectors. He is well known for building a low budget car and making faster time than most people can with alot more power. Congrats Brett not bad for the 1st supra you have ever touched and the 2nd time to the track but 1st time for a full 1/4 Here is the link http://www.madbeems.com/BrettSupra.wmv this is the reply from who`s car it is Thanks guys Your right it does have a bunch of the ebay special parts on it and alot of home made ones too. .020 cp pistons eagle rods mild port work, mostly bowl and combustion chamber (stock valves) crane cams precision 76 gts tial bov innovative wastegate 83 lb injectors manifold, intercooler, pulleys, fans are ebay fuel system, rail, 4" exhaust, 3"intercooler pipes are stuff I made th400 with brake/precision 4000 convertor modified stock drive shaft and stock rear end I am still on the 3 bar map and small injectors so I didnt want to get too crazy with the boost. I shifted at 7500 and still had to get out of the throttle on each pass. The track has been closed for 2 years and just reopend last weekend so there was not much rubber down yet. I have a few more changes I want to do before I go back to the track and spray it. I'll let you know how it goes. Brett
  16. guy had another set too.might be worth buying to stick on ebay.got a set of 5 copper wire brushes for drill for 1 quid.always come in handy when cleaning alloy before you polish it.
  17. thanks.getting a few tools together now.just need to use them lol.
  18. i have been using mine last few days.they a scary peice of kit.always keep fingers well out of way and un plug it when not using it.sorry to hear about your fingers sounds nasty.hope it works out for you.
  19. jamie dont you have a fjo wideband.seem they are of more use than a EGT gauge. most i ever had on stock turbos was 1050 degrees on jap stock fuel pump.since having the walbro fitted the temps have come down loads.i originally had mine fit in downpipe after turbos.got told its wrong so had it re fitted in runners by cw. ian do you have a pic of yours on bl manifold
  20. hi just bought some new halfords professional ratchet half moon spanners for 20 quid from carboot sale.8 different sizes.10mm 11mm 12mm 13mm 14mm 15mm 16mm 17mm had a look on ebay and could not see any.i got them brand new.looks like i got a bargain as they 69.99.never seen them before.have got some normal straight halfords professional ratchets.thought they might come in handy for akward places. http://www.itv-motoring.com/images/cm_images/general/halfmoon.gif http://www.askaprice.com/new_car_news.asp?news=New%20Spanners%20From%20Halfords&item=5988 i like halfords tools they look well made.not snap on but not snap on prices too.
  21. i been on a couple of tracks and sure is fun if you know what you doing, unlike me.u sure get to realise jap brakes are a bit crap on heavy use.donnington was a fun track.places like elvington are ok but not same on flat surfaces.someone who is a regular track driver will get more use out of track time. i would like to have a scooby as a everyday car.
  22. eyefi`s single turbo with gt35 is rapid and the grip was like nothing i ever been in.was like it was on rails and never chirped the tyres with rltc.went round a roundabout like it was on rails.really supprised me how good it was.th gt35r are a small turbo with 600-700hp cant wait till he gets it out on track. scoobies look good fun to me.i have raced a few and beat them off the line too.scoobies seem fun in low gears.i went for a test passenger ride in a sti version 5 type r or something was so rapid off line.the guy driving was giving it a right pasting.it kept popping out of gears.
