the guy has just replied He says he doesnt know what turbo its got? but it had a confirmed 489 bhp @ 5psi on a rolling road!!! mmmmm and is now running 28psi so if he's getting 692 bhp at 3700 then at say 6500-7000 rpm at its peak it must be making well over a thousand!!! Dont chavs like that make you laugh
-
he's probaby got it wired into his rev instead of the speed sensor!! i did that on my 300zx was great i had 800 bhp sitting on my drive I had to send him a email asking him what turbo he had on and has he had it dyno'd properly but i will guess not lmao Mike
-
Had to post as i was feeling a bit shitty tonight (wife trouble!!) but when i read this it made me laugh!! What a joke mmm 692 bhp in 3rd at 3700 rpm with 900 1b/ft of torque!!! Click LMAO Kirbz

I think RR car when i spoke to him last year had about 750 bhp but thats at the wheels so must be pushing 1000 bhp at the fly!! Will be an interesting year this year as the sumo r34 car is no more but they have an r32 and the gtart car is looking good, i know theres a few supra's which will be pushing and theres now, at last a couple of big power 300zx's coming through which is nice to see some people challenging the skylarks Kirbz

Must admit if i do keep the supra i will be getting the widest toyos on the rears i can, i had them on my 19's on my 300zx and although i usually go for F1's i was more than impressed with the Toyos infact i would even go as far as to say they had more alround grip!! Mike

I used to work for an insurance company many years ago and some of the names there were class...one of the ones which stood out was a certain Dr Arslika....and it was pronounced as you would think as well!! i had to put the phone down on his for laughing so if your out there...sorry

I read somewhere its got the GT30 turbo which is on the large side for a 2 ltr but i always thought the GT series turbos had little lag? i know the GT-RS turbo which is based on the T28 has next to no lag so i wouldnt have thought the next size up would be as bad as he says?

There are a handful of "decent" carriers DHL, UPS, TNT, Dare i say it Parcelforce, Fedex then you start going into some of the more average ones Mike
-
Its quite funny because i am fairly new to working for parcelforce, i came from IT and capital equipment before i joined Parcelforce and when i go out to see my customers i used to walk in with a cringe waiting to get whipped but most if not all say the say thing all carriers are crap and lose stuff, break stuff etc etc but PF are one of the better ones!? i suppose because we are one of the biggest we get most of the stick. Infact it shocked me the fact that people were OK with the fact that all carriers quality of service was only OK and they put up with it!! in my old business if you put a step wrong you were out the door because there was always someone better!? The world or sales, dont you just love it Mike

Christmas is a bad time to send a parcel with any courier as theres is about 5 time more that goes through the network. We dont have sub contractors we have employees and owner drivers which has made a very big difference to our business for the good and yes i agree it is the single most complained bit the phone system, its anoying for us that work there never mind the customers!! they "should" answer the phone as depot level a good ideas is when you do get through ask for the computer room number as well as the main number and you should have some joy or even the customer service manager's direct number. If you have anything you are having problems with give me a bell or email and i will try to help buddy Oh and just to let you know DHL is german not american its actually owned by the german post office who could poss take over our post office in a few years if they get their own way!!! Like i say if you want me to help call me on 07736 787121 Cheers dude Mike

Been having a few teething problems with my new supra the main one being it had a hard time getting any sort of traction on the road and i mean any this thing would spin the rears in all gears?? i put this down to having stupid power but more of a concern the rear was really twitchy but never having a supra before i had nothing to compare it to!! but Had a mess around with the coilovers this morning and to my shock the rears were out by a massive 25mm i was slightly shocked because to look at it it didnt look that bad but the tape measure doesnt lie. So after adjusting the coilovers bit by bit i have it about 5 mm out before i had to stop but what a difference its a different car you actually feel you can push the "go faster" pedal so this is the first time i have been able to get the power down and feel safe about it and the car really handles well now infact on the test drive up a new road near me so its nice and flat and smooth i even had a little race with a saph cossie well he shot up behind me so i booted it now bear in mind its only in low boost so 7 or 8 psi and just left his as if he was stationary pulled up about a mile or so after in a layby so he pulls up behind me and just says wow he couldnt keep up no chance and he's running 350 bhp? so even though i dont usually race about its nice to hear sometimes So very happy chappie car feels fab but just goes to show that even though the car came from a performance car jap specialist you have to be so careful!! Mike

Jabra 250 for me miles better quality then others i have tried and much better battery life as well Think mine was £59.99 from phones 4U...i would do the hand movement but no one can see it

Dont know if any of you saw the gumball dvd where you see the F50 driving round the track at dusk...wow amazing car amazing sound and nice flames from the exhaust
-
cheers matey i put a stupid amount of money into her 15k+ lol cars dont you just love them!! she had the best of everything and the last thing was a pair of GTRS turbos which i paid for from a tuning garage in the US and 6 months later then still were not here and i had every excuse under the sun like "they were washed away in the hurricane" "they have been shipped but i dont have a tracking number" "they have been damaged in shipment and all we got back was pieces but your air filters are fine to send on!!!" the last one was the best i think....they managed to break a turbo which is not an easy thing to do unless you start throwing them around but the flimsy air filters came out undamaged!!! so by this time i had lost the plot and sold the car then a cheque came along with my dual intake?? Just goes to show you never know who your buying from! i thought this tuning garage was a good quality place, i was wrong But life goes on and its nearly christmas Mike

Dont know if you lot have seen this already so sorry if its been posted but not sure i would do it as it wrecks an already good car but hey you got to take your hat off to the amount of work http://www.6park.com/enter7/messages/gvk21098.html Mike
-
if you look on their site thats all they sell they have several one the same and a few rs500's in stunning condition and been modded!! You gotta love the 3 door the daddy of performance cars
-
wow how clean!! The mileage on that must be very very low for it to still look like that!! There was an escort cossie on ebay a few months ago a white one and that had been sat in some old blokes garage for 10 years or so unregistered!! so it was a 53 plate escort cossie with delivery mileage Mike
-
No mine is the original paintwork the one you posted is tony lacks..well was he sold it this year but his has been resprayed but they look very similar and have the same wheels on I tried to keep mine looking fairly standard and was going to tune mine up to 600+ bhp!! konda glad i didnt now having the supra but was a great car and never let me down Mike
-
Like a few have said that car has had many many hours loveingly put into it so you got to respect that as i did with mine http://rides.300zx.co.uk/rides/2026/mk_zed_8.JPG This was my baby gone to nottingham now though Mike
-
Nice one just replied to your email but yeh wouldnt mind swapping my bit for your bit if you know what i mean Mike
-
Please dont think that i'm trying something here??!! i am genuine and only just sold me pride and joy a few weeks ago my 300zx and thought this maybe perfect for what i wanted ie a fast road car that i could take to the pod now and again and cause some havok. But i struggle to get it on my drive, infact i have to reverse it on as its a little low at the front, i have put it higher on the coilovers but morecambe is not good for speedbumps!! as i'm sure anyone who lives locally will vouch for that!! The bottom line is for a 6 speed supra its cheap, for a supra thats had a stupid amount of money put in it and is running a reliable 600+ bhp its a give away, yes it could do with a little tidying but over all in my estimates even if you stuck a AEM ecu in and had it mapped you could be running more than that for what £1500 not bad!! Like i said i'm in no rush to sell but if anyone is interested then get in touch Cheers Mike
