  1. i believe his car weighs about 1200 kg's and if he has ran 9.38 its still faster than 9.4?? so how has the CRD broken the record for a jap import?? as Keiths is a jap import?? i had a feeling that the CRD supra was going to do great things this year after seeing it coast over the line with i think a broken rear diff at the jap show in october and i think he got a 9.8 and coasted the last 100 meters As ive said before its looking like a great year this year for UK dragging and about time we started catching up with the japs and eventually the guys in the US Mike

    f**kin clutch

thats the spirit a mate of mine had a drive in my car which has the OS triple in yesterday and bear in mind he is running an RPS street clutch and he said it was easier to use than his i love it, not the cheapest option but imho the best option for the power your running Mike

  4. nice, so you went with the greddy after all good choice and remember it will get a little louder once its settled in very well made as well and without a doubt on a par with the blitz and hks systems IMHO Mike
  5. He wont be selling the lemon after all the money he's spent on it but he has just sold his daily driver R33 GTR so must fancy a change of manufacturer
  6. You will be making the southerners jealous with tales of washing your car lol
  7. Fed up with all the bickering on the GTR board Mick So are you building a supra as a drag car then and keeping the lemon as a fast road car or still going to enter the lemon in events?? Mike (kirbz on the gtr club )
  8. Cant beat volk rims Heres the 19's i had on my skyline http://www.kirbz-zed.co.uk/sky%2011.JPG
  9. I "think" you need to have the dvd disc in if your using the sat nav, bit of a pain as you can only listen to the radio!! not sure with the pioneer/alpine map updates?? then again you now cant update the tomtom maps!! they charge you? The way around it would be to stick a cheap single din dvd player below the all in one unit?? or just put up with only radio while your sat naving
  10. We have the opposite problem up in the NW too much rain so we dont have any bans but its always pi55ing it down so we never get to clean the cars any way
  11. I use tomtom and very happy with it but i have a few friends who have the pioneer all in one and love it and its coming down in price nicely now so id go for that one
  12. I'm not going into all the crap but ive spoken to keith a few times and have used RB's and as the last comment said Keith is a nice guy who works as a plumber and yeh he sells t-shirts ( me and my kid have one ) but its to provide fuel etc to run!! i say fair play to him Also i see that rocket ronnies name crop up, not that i'm ronnie bashing but he has the full backing of abbey motorsports and i dont know what ronnie does for a living but i believe money is no object with him and i think he also has a porker GT3 as a track car!! Anyone who can do a sub 10sec 1/4 mile has to be an amazing driver IMHO so fair play to him and anyone else Mike

  18. Keith Cowie is going is going for the 0-300kph record early next year which is held by the veilside skyline at the moment at 13.2 sec!!! keith hopes to do it under 13 secs in his skyline!! now thats fast Mike
  19. yep he can do them, my anteras have a polished rim but the volks were a 3 piece split rim and to make matters worse the forged outer rim is stainless on them and was bent so he had to be really careful bending them back but he sorted it Here was my volks wheels http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/emenu/datas2/VOLK/130_SFC/big.jpg Mike
  20. well i suppose the costs are varied but i got charged £120 for the 3 x 19" volks which i thought was a bargain
  21. yeh my volk split rims were that bad it looked like someone had gone round with a hammer and chisel and they were bent out after the previous owner had hit a pot hole!!! but fair play he bought them back!! I'm not in anyway linked to the guy (richard) but just he's done such a good job and i know how hard it is to find decent people to do like wheels etc Mike
  22. Well Mr "Shiners" does it again He refurbed my volk rims that were on my R33 which were that bad i thought i may have to buy 2 new wheels but bought them back to new so my 300zx's 19" wheels had bad curbing on 2 of the wheels so he's just finished and wow...again what a guy. He is looking to expand and covers the northwest but also offers a postal service as well so if anyone wants his details then let me know or i will put his number in my signiture Mike ps bloody started to rain but the wheels are as new again
