  1. GSD = German Sheppards. He used to howel, but it was quite a half-hearted pathetic howel, he doesn't do it much anymore but he makes some fantastic wookie noises! Yeah he's a big fluffy fuss pot, normally tells me off if I stop rubbing his legs or something!
  2. Unfortunately, Apollo wasn't rescued until he was 18 months old and hadn't been socialised with other dogs. While he was at the rescue centre he lived next to mostly GSD's (and learned to bark like a GSD's too!). Does your mal bark?
  3. No, not a professional race, but I have been on a sled when I went snowboarding in Tignes, it's fantastic, I just love the noises the pack make when they get excited before a run
  4. I love the long haired ones! http://www.malamuterescue.co.uk/4.jpg
  5. I took him to classes when I first got him but just wanted to attack the other dogs, I think the trainer gave up on him in the end. He's 8 now so it's a little bit late!
  6. You have to log in to see the photo's.
  7. I wish I could let Apollo off the lead but just don't trust him. he hates other dogs and is a real Jackyl and hyde, great with kids though, they can climb all over him, pull his ears and tail and he lies there and takes it!
  8. Yeah you have to be so careful, they can be buggers! I've only ever let Apollo of the lead twice. The first time he crashed through an electric fence to chase some pigs, the pigs stood their ground and he decided it wasn't worth the hastle and walked off! 2nd time was on a (what I thought) was a deserted beach in Wales, I let him off but in the very far distance Apollo spotted a boarder collie and took off after it, he jumped into the sea to catch the collie while it was fetching a ball, luckilly I managed to jump on him when he came out of the water
  9. Hi Chris, yeah I have a Malamute. I'm in Telford, I bought some brake discs and pads from you a while back and picked them up from your Mrs at Horton Wood
  10. I'm thinking of leaving the insides of my lights chrome/silver instead of spraying them black (facelift) as I think they would look quite good. I just wondered if they will be too dazzely with the clear lenses?
  11. In another 6 months he (your mal) will be a monster, they grow sooo quickly!
  12. Do you think that leaving the pre-facelift reflectors chrome will have a bearing on the legailty of the lights? I reckon they will look good with clear lenses!
  13. Nice garage door, what shade of green is that?
  14. When I lived in Nottingham I used to sneek into Centre Parks, use the pool and other facilities for the day FOC. I wouldn't pay to stay there
  15. I'd always wanted one and it took me ages to find Apollo, in the end I was fortunate enough to find him in a rescue centre in Lincoln. If you want a Malaumte you are looking at approx £800 for a puppy, I saw some for sale in my local paper the other day, which is unusual as most breeders have a 12-18 month waiting list!
  16. Cheers, he is a hansome brut, he get's all the attention when I take him to the park! I don't have many pictures of Apollo and the ones I do have aren't very good. This one is a bit blurry, is there a way to sharpen it using Photoshop?
  17. Yeah, with a few seconds to go it looked like it was going to go for £175, then at the very end it shot up to £243, the guy paid within a few minutes so I'm well chuffed
  18. I have an Alaskan Malamute Called Apollo (see my Avatar) and the Mrs has two rabbits.
  19. Yeah, with a special IR filter, it can be used as an X-Ray camera
  20. Not long left if anyone is still interested...going...going....
  21. Damn, I had one of these and binned it!
