  1. Cool, they will do nicely. Let me know the P&P cost and I'll Paypal you the money. Cheers
  2. I am a buyer for an engineering company (mainly steel products) and I import a lot of parts from China, many are special items manufactured to customers sample/drawings. I mainly deal through one company in China who source pretty much anything I want. Last year I got my supplier to source me a pair of front brake discs for my supe, if I remember correctly the NETT cost to me was $10 each, in the end I got them as F.O.C samples, they have been on my motor for just over 12 months and they're still going stong. Anyway, I could send them a stock orange lense sample and I'm sure they could easily find a factory that could copy the lense but make it out of clear plastic, they would even send me samples but I would probably have to pay a mould/tooling charge in advance, if there were enough people on here interested it may be worth doing it. Anyone got a spare lense they could send me to send to China?
  3. Just blew the dust off my indicators and had a look at the bulbs. I expected to find 1 x indicator bulb and 1 x sidelight bulb, what I found was 1 x large indicator bulb and 1 x small indicator bulb (see photos), so could I buy the facelift sidelight harness from MrT, wire it to the indicators and use both sides of the light as an indicator or, would that look crap? Sorry, I'm not much good with electrics
  4. I'll give that a go, just need to make sure I block the bulb holes on the side-light part, I'm sure Duck tape should do the job.
  5. Post some pics when you're done, I'm interested to see how they'll turn out.
  6. Not sure, I'm sure the lenses can be removed, tinted black with that spray then re-seal the lenses. I've previously seen DIY black tinted fronts for sale on eBay, they did not look good!
  7. Yes, I was talking about DIY tinting the front indicators, not the side ones.
  8. I bought a pair of clear face-lift indicators off ebay ages ago but I didn't realise how much of a hastle it was to fit them, so if I only want to use the indicators I could use the current looms without the need to snip?? Oh, no offense intented about tinted lights
  9. They could be tinted but DIY tinted lights always look chavvy, clear pre-face lifts is the future
  10. Must be someone on here who knows a man who knows another man who can sort out some of these!
  11. They would be brilliant, a straight swap and now fannying around modding harnesses etc. I'm sure is someone sold these they'd make a shedload!

    Alloy Paint

I'm thinking, theres a place near me that does chrome plating. He's done cash in hand bits an bobs for me before, what do you think chromed stock alloys would look like?

    Alloy Paint

Did you strip the old paint off or just clean, prime then paint?

    Alloy Paint

I've have stock 16" alloys on my car, the wheels are in excellent condition but the centre caps let them down as they are faded. Can anyone tell me what paint I would need for a good colour match? Cheers:)
  15. MPG seems OK. I do approx 100 miles per week and use about £20 worth of fuel, have done for the past few years.
  16. I've thought about de-catting but I couldn't be arsed to re-fit the cats every year for the MOT, it seems like this guy would pass the car even if it was de-catted. I've just found last years emission test and it passed, maybe one of the cats is knackered.
  17. After fitting new rear tyres and replacing a sidelight bulb my Supe passed the MOT today. However, I have just had a look at the Exhaust emission test results sheet and shows the overall results as FAILED! The guy has signed it but passed the car, I always thought if a car failed the emission test it would therefore fail the MOT. Any ideas?
  18. 30 odd quid for a paper air filter is a disgrace, they must cost almost nothing to make, a tenner is what you they should they cost at the very most.
  19. I just got one off eBay for £10.99 which is all they're worth really.
  20. Has anyone bought these bulbs from eBay seller aceparts_uk? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-89-93-XENON-HEADLIGHT-FOG-BULBS-HID-SET_W0QQitemZ250098030129QQcategoryZ72235QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem £9.99 seems very cheap for a full set, just wondered if they're any good?
  21. Cheers Nic. Just been into Halfrauds and the conning gits said the elements were different and they could order me one for £46![sHOCK][/sHOCK]
  22. Are these the same for T/T and NA? Cheers!
