  1. Cheers, I'll have another crack at it tomorrow. Unfortunately, I'm not the most patient guy in the world, I'm suprised I've managed to control myself and not break anything!
  2. Yeah, I might get my mrs to see if she can get her hand in there, but she won't be happy if she breaks a nail!
  3. I could'nt get my hand behind the light to get the bulb out so thought it would be easier to get the light out and have more room to change the bulb. The MOT man failed it today so I need to get it changed ASAP.
  4. I've tried wiggling, pulling and swearing but the bugger refuses to come out! The light is starting to fade so I've just took a bit more skin off my knuckles putting the bolts back on. All I want to do is change the bloody sidelight bulb!! The supe is a great car, but it wan't designed for DIY repairs, the most basic jobs are a real pain in the arse!
  5. I've removed the 3 bolts but the headlight (Driver side) won't come out, it's lose and will move but won't pull out, what am I doing wrong? I knew I should of left it until the weekend! Cheers!
  6. I use T-cut on mine too. Once the T-cut has been taken off I give them a buff up with some Autoglym resin polish, they come up really well.
  7. Yep, mine went a few days ago, I'll be replacing the winder mech and regulator this weekend.
  8. Hi Rik, It's for the drivers side. Can do please do a favour when you are checking the door? Despite the cables being intact I know I definitely need the winder mech as the cable has got all tangeled up and I'm sure it would be all kinked/damaged once un-tangled. You will see that both the up and down cables each go around a pulley (top and bottom of door), the end of each cable fits into a spring/white plastic block which are retained by a metal clip that can be prised open to remove the cables. It is these plastic plarts that have broken, I'm pretty sure that this metal part is attached to the window regulator but can't be 100% sure. I have just had a look but because the window is now all the way up and tightly wedged into place, it is now out of sight. I have taken a few pics of how the door looks at the moment...
  9. I think I will also need the window regulator. Cheers!
  10. Hi, The winder mech went on me today, I've managed to wedge the window up for now with a bit of wood for now. The cable hasn't actually snapped, it seems in tact, the metal bit on the end of the cable is still there, its the white plastic bit that the cable fits into which has broken (I hope that makes sense!) So, I desperately need a new winder mechanism ASAP. If anyone is breaking a Supe or has this part spare please PM me. Oh, I'm not sure if this is important but is it's for a '94 NA. Cheers!

    squeeky clutch

I've got a squeeky clutch - Very annoying!
  12. Is that like chalk board black?
  13. I was going to change them today but I've put it off until next week or...the week after...or the week after that......
  14. Thats my problem too, if I can't do something quickly I tend to start throwing an breaking things
  15. Cheers, I might have a crack at it, what the worst that can happen why isn't anything on the soop straight forward, on most cars changing plugs is a 15 min job!
  16. Yeah, thats what I mean. I'm not much good enginey stuff so I might just pay someone to do it for me
  17. I need to change the spark plugs on my N/A, does anyone know if there is anyway of removing the plugs without removing the throttle body?
  18. Elmo

    Monster Soop!!

    Yeah but very quickly!

    Monster Soop!!

    Check out this beast... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4621652715&sspagename=MERCOSI_VI_ROSI_PR4_PCN_BIX
  20. Anyone bought these off eBay? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4609288525&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1 After reading various threads I thought they would be a straight swap, but after removing one of my stock repeaters I found they have different connectors! Now I've got a spare pair of repeaters, anyone want to buy them for their Celica/MR2?
  21. £655 for a bit of plastic! I got mine for £30 off eBay! £70 for a respray sounds good but I take it that doesn't include any labour cost?
  22. I called a few body shops today, average quote is £175 for respray and fitting of new rear bumper, sounds a bit steep to me.

    Interior Colour

Cheers for that. Well a carpet is easily replaced. Also wondering if it is possible to hook up the heated seats to a car currently without the heated seats function?
