    Oh Dear!!

Check out this monstrosity, and look what he's done to the rear bumper, FUGLY or what! /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_shock.gif http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1994-TOYOTA-SUPRA-RED-/380266053484?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item58899f7f6c Apologies if you are the owner reading this
  2. Would one of our resident Photoshop experts be so kind to put the following wheels on my car, I'd be most grateful http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/18-CARBON-ALLOY-WHEELS-TOYOTA-SUPRA-TYRES-/140441908197?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item20b2fd73e5 Thinking about getting them but not sure if they'd suit my car
  3. Ah I see, I was looking to get to the connector circled in blue (if that is a connector!)
  4. Yeah, I took the panel off earlier to have a look but wasn't sure if I pulled them out throught the tailgate I'd be able to feed them back through again as the channel at the side of the tailgate is very narrow. However, in saying that I only need to pull it out a few inches to get access to the connector, I'll try that
  5. Hi, when I say grommits, I mean those rubber pipes at the top of the tailgate. On the drivers side there are no wires going through, only on the passenger side. after pulling the rubber pipe off the passenger side I have tried pulling the wire to get better access to the connector but it won't budge enough for me to get hold of it, so I'm thinking if I chop the wires further down I should be able to just pull it through. Well today was a write off, hopefully the sun is shining again tomorrow and I'll try again.
  6. Thanks for the info. I can feel a connector about and inch after the hole in the tailgate (where the grommit is fitted), but can't get to it to disconnect it. I took the cover panel off the underside of the tailgate to see if I can disconnect any of the plugs (wiper, 3rd brake light etc) but there are too many and the connectors are quite large, if I did manage to pull them out and feed them up through the tailgate I'm worried I would be able to feed them back in when re-fitting the tailgate. I think I might have to chop the wires before the first connector and pull it through, then re-join them later.
  7. Right, managed to find the loom connector, it's about an inch inside the tailgate on the N/Side (I Can't see it, but can feel it if I poke my finger in the hole), how the hell are you supposed to disconnect it, I can bearly reach it with one finger!?!?
  8. Damn, posted in wrong catagory Mod's please move to mkiv Technical, Cheers!
  9. As the weather is so good today I thought I would take the tailgate off and sort out the rust which has formed in the channel between the roof and the tailgate. I have pulled back the roof lining a few inches to have a peek to see what needs to be removed, and I now have a couple of questions that I hope someone can help me with. 1) I can see where the washer pipe connects to the connector (under the roof lining), if I pull the pipe off, will washer fluid Pi$$ out everywhere? 2) On the N/S there are some wires which go from under the roof lining, through the grommit, and down the side of the tailgate (I assume they are for the 3rd brake light and the rear wiper), but I can't see a connector, where is the connector located? I thought the connector would be visible somewhere under the roof liner Any assistance would be appreciated, thanks
  10. Mine went a couple of years back, only problem is after I dropped the window dropped window down to fit the new unit, and despite many attempts I have never been able to get the glass to line up perfectly on the seal
  11. Looks like Mini Metro's were popular in your street
  12. Did you think it was just a coincidence that your mirrors folded in when you flicked the switch?
  13. Will steering wheels from other Toyota's ie. MR2 fit a Supra? Cheers
  14. I bought a rear 14" x 7" plate from this seller last week http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180500682346&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT Ordered Weds evening, received Friday morning, good quality too
  15. I didn't notice at the time, now I am offended
  16. I played COD4 on PC only, but I bought MW2 for my PS3, the PS3 controls takes a little getting used to after using a mouse and keyboard, but after many hours of MW2 on the PS3 theirs no going back (plus the plasma TV and surround sound makes it a more enjoyable experience).
  17. no offense taken mate, I know they're not to everyones taste. My car body is stock, but when the car is re-sparyed I'm looking to get the black skirt bits and the front bumper lip colour coded, so I guess it would make sense to have any black parts (number plate surround included) sprayed also.
  18. I actually really like them, believe or not I have been looking for a set for ages, I think it makes the rear end a little bit more interesting, I suppose each to their own
  19. I have just bough a pair of number plate surrounds from jay n/a which are standard black. I will be getting my car re-sprayed in the next few weeks and can't decide weather to get them colour coded or leave the stock black. Oh, my car is Storm Blue. Any comments would be appreciated
  20. I'm looking for a drivers seat belt, mine doesn't always retract on it's own. Must be in good condition and prerfect working order. Cheers.
  21. If you still have it, I could do with the drivers seatbelt, mine sticks a bit and doesn't always retract on it's own (needs some help). If it's in good working order I'll take it, £15 okay?
