  1. It's not just up there mate I think people like that are installed in every new housing estate by companies like Bovis etc when they finish work, we've got no lack of them down here. I agree with what you're saying, the supra is my 4th car and I've 'lightly' modified all the others, but even when I was 18 complete with fresh new driving licence I never did anything I now view as embarassing Obviously each to his own and one man's shed is another man's baby. but come on..... big silver metal spoilers bolted to escorts, greddy / hks stickers on the side of a micra, they all seem to be getting more and more common.

    Ouch

    LOL I'm remembering that one!
  4. That's lovely mate, gotta love that blue! Nice one!
  5. one of those pics that needs a second read before you get it..... May be a repost but still good
  6. I get the active spoiler problem occassionally, does it happen on start up or when cold? I think it goes through an auto test when you start the ignition and gets stuck sometimes.... I usually just switch it off by the 'auto off' button for a few mins, then back on. Usually sorts it out Edit: Marvel at my technical knowledge!
  7. Crude but highly effective!
  8. Twas me!!!!! FINALLY SPOTTED :D I think I drove past you on the way into Witham.... then again on the way out when you were in yours
  9. A couple of classics.... I can't tell you where I got these from but I guarantee you they're geniune....... Mr Mayo Dickshit Mr Wankheed. Mr Richard Pounder
  10. Supercharger? BTW is your place haunted or is the soop being turned into a rover? Boom boom.
  11. haha good question..... I say we confiscate the fog lights off those s**tbox cars and donate them to the brainless!

    Blinkered!

Is it just me or do some people drive around without a care in the world, and only see 12 inches infront of their face? On my way home today and a young lady in a pug 206 was driving in the pitch dark with no headlights on..... now TBH I sometimes forget to switch my lights on when in a well lit car park etc, but quickly realise when I look down at the speedo / rev counter. No amount of headlight flashing, shouting, pointing, horn beeping etc by several drivers could distract her attention from... well... nothing. One guy almost hit her because he assumed she was parked shortly before the pug swerved back into the flow of traffic Thanks for listening, calmed down a bit now BTW I think the car was heading for the A12 so hopefully she noticed before trying to pull onto the main road
  13. Don't have the AFR graph unfortunately Think I'm gonna take it to another local dyno, will be interesting to see what happens.
  14. Does my power graph look wierd to anyone? I've just notice that the power dips before #2 comes online (as it should i believe), but so do the revs
  15. lol, would probably be a first!
  16. Fair enough, so in order to be accurate you'd need to remove the engine. But 220BHP at the wheels still seems too low to me. Now either the transmission losses are made up and my engine's not producing the power it should do, or the transmission losses are accurate and I'm losing a hell of a lot of power between fly and wheels. Or the dyno's not accurate and I'm worrying about nothing
  17. Thanks for the replies guys I was under the impression that transmission losses were calculated by how much resistance the car offers against the rollers when it's winding down from a run..... but that's quite possibly horse manure. Jake, my question isn't "where's my 305bhp gone" but "is my transmission knackered?" Of course if the dyno operator simply guesses that an auto suffers from 28% drivetrain loss then like you say my fly BHP is 275 which is much less than it should be. hence I'm trying to find out if anyone else has any fly to wheel power figures for a standard auto so I can compare.
  18. LOL Brilliant! I have a mate who works at a job website and some of the names that come up are unbelievable.
  19. If you're past caring and I find your car for you.... can I keep it? Sounds bad, I hope you get it sorted soon Don't suppose the post office would have a forwarding address for them?
  20. No-one? Anyone else got any examples of standard transmission losses on an auto? Is 305 - 220 acceptable?
