  1. apparantly the tyres collapsed because of a weak spot between the tread and the tyre wall.
  2. Anyone else watching this? Goodyear have a manufacturing fault with their tyres which caused Ralf S to crash yesterday 9 out of the 10 teams on Goodyear will only race if they install a chicane on the fastest part of the course to slow it down... and there's 50 mins to go till the start There's arguing and shouting all round!
  3. WTF? That's surely taking the p*ss. I can understand the need for "access only", but if I pay my road tax then I'll drive through however many villiages I like thankyou very f**king much!!! I can't believe they pulled him over and fined him for that I try to defend our nation's policemen / women whenever I can... but how do you defend something like this?
  4. Black paintwork in the warm? No damn way!
  5. Google says that number belongs to Newton Inusrance services - part of Norwich Union.
  6. Damn you Nic, my bank balance is just recovering!!!! Must fight the temptation!
  7. A mate of mine's at santa pod today, just texted to say it's baking! Ever washed your supra in the sunshine, so you have to literally run around it with the shammy before the water dries? I'm sweating like a pig now!
  8. Yesterday from about 7pm, from the outside looked pretty much standard, but very clean and shiny I left a card.
  9. Wow, 6 pages already... that's some good crappin' people!
  10. Sorry, but it is edit: bugger, too slow.

Ahhh, the classic thread that provided us with one of my all time favorite BBS quotes.... "If a flying dog with huge razors attached to it's ears chopped me in half I'd be fairly annouyed"
  13. Hi mate, take a look at this thread; http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35926 Sounds like you have problem no.2

    fuckers!!!

Sounds like you've got a good set-up... something like this would be ideal.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cambridgeshire/4272041.stm
  15. I (think) anti-histamene injections are now illegal in the UK because of heart complications - To be honest I've never really found an over the counter tablet that works without some sort of side effect, if I take any type of spray I end up with nosebleeds every day BTW I think it's caused by an over active defence system, your body thinks it's under "attack", so goes through all the usual routines to prevent any foreign viruses entering... watering eyes, running nose, sneezing etc. I suppose that's why it's so difficult to prevent it, anything that works will be effectively "turning off" some of your body's very important defences. Also, late evening in the summer is the worst time because during the day, the high air temp keeps the pollen quite high up and evenly distributed.. when the air cools down in the evening the pollen falls back down to ground level :thumbdown If you're at home I suppose closing all windows etc before the evening gets cool would be a way of toning down the effects a little bit.

    fuckers!!!

Really sorry to hear this mate Makes you wonder about the future of mankind whenever you hear a story like this... which unfortunately seems like every week.
  17. Bumpity bump No-one every heard of / used this then?
  18. It always makes me chuckle when you see videos of inexperienced teenage car theives / general scum try to outrun highly trained policemen in car's specially spec'd for that sort of high speed persuit.... oh well at least it's good entertainment!
  19. I've heard the suprastick mentioned several times before now, but no-ones ever really got any details on it. Apparantly it's a piggyback ecu which will effectively turn an auto transmission into a tiptronic... it doesn't come with shift paddles etc, just the electronics. http://latentsolutions.com/suprastick.html I've been thinking about doing this for a while but have been a bit frustrated by the lack of info available (plus the site says the mkiv kit is "coming soon!") Anyone ever used / looked at this? Would be cool to turn an auto into a proper tiptronic
  20. Mine hit .75 max when it was completely standard.
