  1. If she didn't cool down the engine properly after the journey I'd repeat the above insult
  2. I only showed up for a few hours for a look around and to perv at all the supras What I saw was superb though, nothing like the site and sound of four superb cars blasting down the strip Infact I was glad when the WPC showed up, my ears got a chance to recover, it went so quiet you could've heard a pin drop BIG thanks to James, Sabrina + co, was great to see the cars that I've been staring at on the calendar for the last 8 months But as usual I just stood around and showed off my social ineptitude
  3. I do love TVRs, but I wouldn't worry about the driver of the T350.... he'll probably be dead soon with a non-airbag steering wheel inserted into his forehead.

  5. Yup, they swerve through traffic, across pedestrian crossings on red lights, BURN THEM ALL!!!!
  6. Scoboblio

    Quick hi

The smile stays and stays, believe me!
  7. Mine started during a drink up round a mates house years ago, someone wrote "f***" or something to that effect in the frost on top of my old mondeo, so I added and changed a few letters to turn it into something non-offensive.... throughout the night everyone had a go at changing and adding letters until it wound up as scoboblio (plus about a dozen letters on the end that I couldn't remember in my drunken stuper). It was hilarious at the time... did I mention I was drunk? How's that for originality
  8. Anyone else watch Scrubs? Jake's recent comments remind me of Dr. Cox
  9. Personally I think it's a great idea, in order to get any sort of a reaction this protest is going to have to; A: Be a complete pain in the a**e for everyone B: Have the public's support C: Be organised D: Not interfere with the operation of the emergency services (could be tricky) It's certainly time we did something big to draw attention to this, we've all seen before how people are willing to put in the effort if it's a cause they agree with - any very few people are going to disagree with this one!
  10. wow didn't realise it would go up by that much!
  11. Had my MOT today (which it passed with flying colours ) My emission results seem too good to be true though, okay so I've got both cats in, but surely I could remove them both and still be well within limits? Fast Idle Test: CO: Limit = 0.30% My reading = 0.09% HC: Limit = 200ppm My reading = 13ppm Natural Idle Test: CO: Limit = 0.50% My reading = 0.01% Obviously I'm very happy, but just a bit curious. Does this seem at all realistic to everyone?
  12. lol, it wasn't obvious enough, coz I didn't think of that Unfortunately it still doesn't work Anyone else done the reverse light > fog light mod, who can take a quick look at their wiring for me? Pretty pretty please......
  13. Yup, nice and tense finish! Got to say that the knee-jerk brigade were out in force again on the BBC web site... one minute we're the best team in the world, then we lose two wickets, "we're crap, might as well give them the ashes now!" Show some backbone you whingers! Any victory against the Aussies is a good one IMO:)
  14. Got the MOT tomorrow And only just got round to sorting out the fog light. When I bought the car it had a reverse light wired in to act as a fog light, complete with switch in the cabin. When I switched to facelift lights though I just went back to having two reverse lights and tucked the foglight stuff out the way... now I can't remember how to wire it up I've got two wires (+ -) coming from the switch in the cabin, and obviously two wires on the loom itself. I thought it would be as simple as wiring the reverse light + - into the switch + -, but it doesn't appear to have any power going to it I remember that the switch wires used to be spliced into the loom wiring somehow, but that's all I know. Please help an electronic muppet before he fries himself
  15. Yeah, I don't usually like stick on stuff, but that actually looks very good
  16. Don't forget that we ALL think we're above average drivers.... that's the one thing that virtually every person in the driving world has in common! I do speed, but I certainly don't agree with the old BS "everybody does it".... my mum certainly doesn't and neither does my dad! The rules have to encompass everyone, including the stupid, senile, frail old codgers that I wouldn't trust doing 70 on a duel carriageway, let alone 100. Like I said, I speed... but if I get caught then it's my fault. I may not agree with some of the speed limits in this country but that doesn't mean I should decide which laws I follow and which I don't!
