  1. Way less than those that are listed on that yank autotrader site. The UK has been flooded with cheaper Jap Imports, the USA hasn't.
  2. I went through that 'complete bollox' music faze as a teenybopper, then I realised it was mindless wank and listened solely to 80's rock/metal and later to add to it stuff like American Headcharge, Rammstein, Static X and a few choice others.... now I'm just a grumpy bad tempered git
  3. TT Supra's cost a LOT more than over here, they are still classed as a status car it would seem and demand a lot more respect (and I mean from people in the know as opposed to just F+F fans). Did a quick search and bearing in mind that things tend to be $1 = £1 when buying things dispite the exchange rate, as in you'll buy an Xbox for £100 while there it will be $100 I've seen it said on supraforums you'd need at least $20k to get a TT Supra which would be double really to over here ignoring the exchange rate.
  4. I'm pretty sure without looking that a set of 40 (and I also have gain on 20) on my decatted UK makes around 1.0 bar so allowing for gears thats about right. 1.2 bar is nearer 60 I think from memory. Best thing to do is set your boost limit to 1.25 or something and then go up from 40 in steps of say 2 just to be safe till you reach what you want. Thats what I did anyway and set it up for it off but with gain still on, 1bar, 1.1 bar and 1.2bar
  5. Nice set of pics, was a good day with lovely cars and great weather... got a burnt head now though

    UK spec Jap spec

The power thing between the two has always amused me Simplified version just for the power thing: 'You can buy a UK and tell people its 326bhp and thats that no matter where they check. You can buy a Jap spec and tell people its 300... 310.. 320 whatever and then spend the next 1/2 hour trying to convince them its true when they keep seeing 280bhp everywhere.' If you can get enough together go for as new an import as you can, post 98 would be great but take the milage etc with a pinch of salt. Otherwise I'd go for the best UK model you could find and get the cheap insurance (was 1/2 as much for me). But thats just me. I would have loved a 2002 import myself
  7. Feckin crap news, feel for you chap. I'd be puking by now from stress I reckon. Keep your chin up and try and view it as a chance to upgrade whatever went... hmmmm that wonderfull thing called money though eh
  8. The active spoilers still work just like everything else... I looked into a GTO/3000GT along with other cars when I was after something, tried a few of them then tried a TT Supra That did it.
  9. Damn the original Xenon, now your really bringing back memories... so fun yet so frustrating at times not to mention addictive. I always loved the original R-type on my spectrum too lol, I loved that game.. and Green Beret and Rambo and Biggles and.... etc etc
  10. Silkworm was top, loved that game. Seeing those brought some memories back, nice one.
  11. The one I use Inchcape has two branches in Nottingham, the one on the outskirts I use normally couldn't but said the inner city one could as they are Lexus authorised dealers too. Went there and got the details no prob and just told them I normally get 10% minimum off stuff at the other branch and that I'd like them to do the same and he said 'no problem' Think I'll stick to the 275's yeah, gota be fat
  12. Just ordered some of these today, so stop posting pics... its making the waiting worse Getting £120 knocked off was a nice touch too, just the tyres to order now and I'll be all ready for next week. Cheers again for the info Jake. I'm pretty set on going for 245/40 and 275/35 tyres (F1's) which a lot seem to run ok, anyone any opinions as to whether 265's on the rear would be better for some reason (handling?)

    Motley Crue

woah, he's gona be glued to that titty cam of Tommy's! Its a great year for tours, I've had Rammstein and Apocalyptica ealier in the year, then American Headcharge, the Crue tonight, Rammstein again next month and then in november its the godfather himself Alice Cooper with Twisted Sister! I'm loving this 80's revival big time.

Me and the Mrs is Have a good night, I hear they're rockin harder than ever and that Micks all over the stage belive it or not after whats he going through
  16. So he's a bent train spotter with a foot/shoe fetish? lol what a bloke! Probably works in a school too....
  17. Yeah even though I'd read of it happening to others its still a bit of 'cack yourself' moment, be the same hitting fuel cut I suppose if you'd never had that happen before. Cheers for the info Ian, I gathered it would be something along those lines
  18. Makes sense, plus the difference between 0.84 and 1.2 bar will be rather easy to feel so pretty sure you'd know if it was only hitting what the SAFC thinks you are. Tricky bristol, I'd be tempted to believe any decent gauge (unless obviously way out) over the controller but maybe thats false logic what do I know Could always try a known accurate one in if possible or if you have it dyno'd somewhere good see what there equipment shows?
  19. I have a HKS boost gauge and the boost reading on my blitz id3 controller differs only on negative boost readings! Work that one out lol, once boost goes positive they are pretty much both spot on. Weird these things m8, don't worry and just go by the one most likely to be accurate.. the gauge Although it is strange in your case how it seems to be hitting a ceiling level.
  20. Yeah sure, I bet Chris and Rob over mansfield way would be up for it too
  21. All seems fine now m8 after a blast around, settled it down. I'm wondering if with the pipe blowing off and the car getting air straight in bypassing the correct system off things if it just threw a wobbly, and took a while with it all back to normal again to fully realise all was ok again. I'm not complaining as long as things stay ok, gota save before I can afford rebuilds or big singles
