  1. Congratulations! Don't sell the Soop, get one of these...
  2. When I bought my car last year, I had all the suspension replaced, so I know it's not this. For the last couple of months, a knocking noise, from what sounds to be coming from the rear suspension arm, has got worse. Anyone know of good reputable importer (not Toyota) for a pair of Rear Suspension Top Arms? I've checked the tightness of the bolts to the arms, as I've been told these sometimes work loose. There is a bit of play in the wheels when up on a jack, and there is obvious movement at the end of the arm. Anyone got any other thoughts? Cheers, Gaz (I'm a designer not a mechanic)
  3. Do you swing' then Ed? He meant it really, didn't you Ed? Christ, what's this forum turning into?...Next thing you know there will be a link to 'Looking 4 Love' in the other section!
  4. What do we call you now Gaz... Dr. Eaves?
  5. Watch it doesn't back! Bzzzzzzzzzzzzz..bang..oh, I didn't save my work! Gaz
  6. Yeah! Falls under "creative accounting for those wishing to lower their tax bill and offset everything including receipts for client meetings in Mc D's" He he, Gaz
  7. If you use a pencil and computer, then I suppose it would count! Gaz
  8. Just thought I'd create a poll to see who does what outside of the forum. 1. Creative 2. Sales 3. Automotive 4. IT 5. Kept man/woman 6. Self Employed 7. Other
  9. Before you rush into selling it, there was a post on here a while ago explaining how a Jap Sat Nav system can be converted to read UK maps. I'll dig around the site. If I find it I'll post it. Can anyone remember this thread? If you want to sell it though, I wouldn't let it go for less than £200. Gaz
  10. Oh, by the way, I especially like the 'thought control driving' technique. Beats the normal steering wheel set up eh. You must concentrate on your driving now and not look around, as your car will respond automatically, and you may crash! Gaz
  11. I'm stuck for words. I see what you mean about the door cards, very nice indeed. I like the boot set up too! I look forward to seeing it in the flesh and listening to the new sound courtesy of Apple OSX and some speakers. Impressive. Gaz
  12. SilverMachine

    Eeek!

It looks like a chubby Ferrari in marlin blue flick paint! I bet his other car is a brown ferrari with massive wheels, bull nose bumper, five seats with a wheel bolted to the boot. I wouldn't drive it even if I won it in a raffle. Gaz
  13. Boing...boing...boing...argh, no...boing...boing...boing...c'mon...boing...boing...ring ring! You should have tied them to your car and drove them in! Gareth
  14. I'll buy those new whells off you (at mates rates obviously), and that should free up some cash for you. Don't forget that mesh too. If it doesn't fit let me know. I owe you a tenner too...that'll help towards you finances. Gaz
  15. Yeah CJ, although I was a bit worried in the opening stages of the game. Lucky we pulled it out of the bag in the second half and 'flogged them' Wouldn't it be GREAT to win! Gaz
  16. All you need to do now Gaz is decide which dials to go for to match your 'short shifter' Gaz
  17. Like Andy said "...sod the house", the car is more important. Should keep you quiet for the next 6 hours Gaz! Have fun, Gaz
  18. Ray's first role as 'Event Organiser' is to sort out the Video! Rosie, give him 48hrs, then if he fails to deliver... FIRE HIM!
  19. If it will improve your driving Gaz, get it! he he Offer him £35.00 to close the sale. Eh, look who's moddin' now then...got the bug mate. See you again sooooooooooooooon! Gaz (the other one)
  20. No.2 for me too! The top one still has that element of 'shell' in the b/g Gaz
  21. I was in my Mum's escort pulling into the car park by B&Q (off the Rhuddlan to Rhyl bypass) when I spotted you leaving at 2pm on Saturday 19th Feb. Who are you? Gaz
  22. Nice on Fifty! No doubt when you're his age, you'll be buying a Ferrari or something just as fast. My dad (who's sadly passed away), bought a Gold Ford Capri 3.0L Sport at 70 as a late retirement present to himself. It was great being in the car with him, as at every opportunity he would take on anything. Young 'chav' ladz would be amazed they'd been beaten by an old timer. He'd always say to me; "don't tell your mother I did that.." Best car he ever bought! Dads are great aren't they. Gaz
  23. By removing the gearbox...it's possible! This was at the meedland meet last week, and in broad daylight, I ask you...what is the world coming to? Know idea who it was... Gaz
  24. Blert...welcome to everyones second home! Nice shiny car too. Gaz
  25. Dude, you can have it, and in return I might call on your wisdom in the future oh Supra Wizard! Gaz
