  1. Speak to Paul E about some El-Glo dials (very nice - about £130 with a converter that changes the glow from blue to green). Easy to fit! Failing that, you could always put sticky dots where the obvious mph speeds are over your Km/h dials as a quick fix: 48Km/h = 30mph 64Km/h = 40mph 80Km/h = 50mph 112Km/h = 70mph I'm not prepared to covert the rest over 70mph as I don't - 160Km/h - condone - 100mph - speeding! Hope it helps you in the meantime. Gaz
  2. Crikey! If he got it together just think what the little ones would look like! Urgh Lots of mods available, all down to how healthy you bank account is really. I really enjoy mine, even though it's not a TT, but next year could see me having a single turbo fitted...hmmmmmm! (Ray - I'm on yer heels mate. I'll give yer nitro a run for it's money when I'm done ) Hadyn, are you up for a meet at the Trafford Centre on 30th Jan, 12 noon? Ray's coming up so a convoy from Brum could be on the cards! If not I'll try and see you at Donington Park. Watch out in the heavy rain...a bit snakey on the rear! Gaz
  3. Rob, see if someone in your area can give you a lift down!

Would be good to meet up with Haydn too! Gaz
  5. Hadyn, Welcome to the world of Supra! Nice ride mate. Brutus told me that you'd finally seen the light (he he). "Minky" and her Silvia are still in the land of the living. Have you still got your S14 or do you use your Soop as your daily drive? Keep in touch. Might even see you down at Donnington Park on the 13th Feb. See how work pans out. Gaz (and Al says "hi")
  6. Doug, tell her to give me a call. It's easier to discuss it over the phone. Because OSX is UNIX based, it's a whole different 'kettle of fish'. Let me take you burden of your shoulders while you wash your hands! :flame Dev There has always been this feeling regarding Macs and PCs. Neither one is worse than the other, they're just different machines for different jobs. It depends what you have been introduced to first. I use a Mac for all general artwork and a PC for 3D rendering! P.S. Castle - my point exactly! Gaz (aka Mr.Satan :flame Dev )

Festival Village / Trafford Centre 30th Jan 2005 First follow signs for trafford centre when u come off motorway. (Easiest way to get to the outdoor car park is to get off the M60 at junction 9). Then once near the complex head for festival village. Just thinking might be better parking in the further away of the 2 carparks cos it'll be less crowded. The Car park near where the new John Lewis is being built (where i saw you Chase). Its replaced the Festival Village for those of you that know it. Basically as you approach the village area you come to a roundabout, right takes you in the direction of the trafford centre entrance itself, left takes you away from it. Take the left. See everyone there at 12 noon. The more the better! 1. Garetheves (Gaz) 2. Rays The Roof. 3. SilverMachine 4. paul mac 5. Zed 6. paulduffield80 7. Tobyg 8. Boneyard
  8. Be careful not to change the wheel radius too much as it will affect your speedo...it'll read incorrect! If you up the size of rim you need to down size the profile of the tyre to compensate so you keep the same rolling radius. Know what I mean? Gaz
  9. Why are you printing straight out of Photoshop? Just create your artwork in Photoshop and import it into a Quark doc (set up in inches) and you'll find that the attributes in the page set up will give you the option of customising the output dimensions because it's being ripped from Quark. Failing that, you could always save the file out as a pdf in the middle of a page and crop it down afterwards. Know what I mean? What is the work you're producing? Gaz
  10. 1970 Red Triumph Herald Convertible - XDM 670H Within a year I had replaced the engine for a straight 6 cylinder 2L Vitesse. This car could turn on a sixpence, no need to ever do a 3-point-turn! Sold it in '88 when I was working in London. I wonder where it is now? Gaz
  11. Doug, Not quite sure if you're talking about "creating a new document" or changing the ruler units for an existing document that has already been created. so... for a new document, all you need to do is "click" on the drop down menus on the right hand side, opposite the 'width' and 'height' windows in the "New Document" dialog box. alternatively, with your existing document open, choose "Photoshop" from the top menu bar (to the right of the apple) then "Preferences" and onto "Units & Rulers". Change the units to suit. Hope that helps you in your dilema. Should you need some visual aid, I can screengrab the various items. Cheers, Gaz

    W E L C O M E Get yourself a Soop...go on, you know it'll be good for you! Gaz
  13. Contact Wheelbase (Oldham) http://www.wheel-base.co.uk/site/ they might have some in stock. The ones you're looking at are similar to BBS RX, but arn't exactly the same. Failing that, Speak to Paul E. Happy hunting, Gaz
  14. Oh how the Driving Tests have changed over the years. When I passed my test, all that was required was that I sit in my car and drive. Now it seems that you have to be able to fit under it as well!
  15. 96...97...98...99...100 Coming ready or not!
  16. That's correct! If you want me to buzz over, ring me! If I don't hear from you, I'll see you about 7p.m. - I'll get the kettle on for a brew, then I'll take you to meet Colin to discuss your front bumper extension. Later, Gaz
  17. Come on over...I'll be back by 6p.m. F.A.O. Boneyard - My mobile: 07967 811902 if you need it. See you all down there. Let's hope it doesn't snow!
  18. Happy to help Gaz. It wouldn't link for me either, so as boneyard would know (one designer to another) "if you aint got the keys for the front door...kick the back door in" This theory always seems to work. See you all down there. Ray - how many nitro boosts do you get out of a can? Silver
  19. Anyone interested, attached is the floorplan of the Trafford Centre with names of carparks off the different sections and a helpful carpark sign. There again, it could just be a load of bºllºçks!
  20. High noon is fine by me Gaz. See you there.
  21. Gaz (eves), Sunday 30th Jan is best for me too! It looks like most on here can meet on that Sunday. What time and which parking 'zone'? Cheers, Gaz
  22. Nick, we're talking about January LOL You're in then! I feel a convoy from Cheshire mate.
  23. 1. Garetheves (Gaz) 2. Rays The Roof. 3. SilverMachine I'm in! Any time apart from 22-23 and 29th Jan
  24. Hi Nick, look at the thread started by Gareth Eaves "Silver Soop at Trafford Centre". A meet is being organised at the Trafford Centre for the Northerners. So far; 'Gaz', 'Chase', 'Rays the Roof' are in along with you (if you're up for it) and me! More will come I'm sure. Should be a good one. Keep your eye open for a new thread re. meet. Later, Gaz (no. 51)
