  1. I agree, how on earth did Massa not get penalised.
  2. Unfortunately Nic said recently that they're no longer available.
  3. Maybe, but you can only benefit by cleaning them up.
  4. Do you have to inform your insurance company when you fit a wheel which doesn't have an airbag, how do they respond or don't you tell them? I've always thought that removing a wheel with airbag is one of the most stupidest things you could do. I know some will say that after a certain age the bag should be replaced anyway, I prefer to keep the airbag with a good chance of it being deployed rather than running the risk of bashing my head on an aftermarket wheel that looks nice.
  5. Strange, you would expect that sort of thing on Ebay but not Pistonheads.
  6. I thought most went for the alternative Gates belt, £60 for a belt is extortionate.
  7. Whatever next, a group buy? The cheap plastic dipstick does the job, it's lighter and will obviously make the car faster and so superior.
  8. If I had the intercooler removed I would use hot soap water first. Be cautious if you're going to blast it with the hose, the fins can be fragile. If you did this on a old stock intercooler it would just crumble.
  9. I did mine like this, you can do it at home with a normal tyre inflator. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=59939&highlight=tube
  10. Nope. The passage of time is to blame, loads of poor examples around too with any Tom, Dick or Harry buying them.

    Help please!

It sounds like you're not capable of sorting this yourself, so take it to a place beginning with G.
  12. http://www.mkiv.com/manual/manualtt/clutch_replacement/index.html Don't forget when filling the gearbox, do it on level ground and when it's full it will start dripping out of the filler hole. I used a length of polythene tube, a funnel and my iniative. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35935
  13. Can't we use some money from the club coffers to have a nude female calendar instead, I'm sick of the sight of Supra's?
  14. The iridium plugs come with the gap already set, you obviously need to make sure that you get the correct ones though. Have you seen the section that Alex wrote? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=41927
  15. There are some fitted prices on Ebay for the Toad ai606, you're within the 100 mile radius of their location too and they have good feedback. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38.l1313&_nkw=toad+ai606 I fitted my own, totally reliable alarm.

    Ferrari red

This is Toyota red, code 3PO .
  17. The VVTI car doesn't have a particularly common OBD II protocol, so not all fault code readers will work. It has an OBD II labled port on the panel down under the steering wheel. You may be able to read some codes yourself using this method on the diagnostics port in the engine bay. You'll be bridging either E1 and TE1 or Tc and E1. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35920
  18. These are the anti-squeal shims, they don't stop the pads from moving around, you don't always need to have them fitted.
  19. Are all of these present? Red arrow: Anti rattle springs. Green arrow: Pad support plates.
  20. Did you disconnect the battery when tidying the wiring up? I would just remove EFI No 1 fuse for a min to remove any stored fault codes, refit the fuse and go for a drive then check for any fault codes.
  21. Not another stupid race?
  22. Well don't commit suicide then and you've got nothing to worry about. He may well have intended to commit suicide but if he died before he could carry it out then it's not suicide, there's probably no proof one way or the other as to the method he intended to use being hypothermia.
  23. I don't think he jumped to his death, did he die from hypothermia? There's your answer.
  24. Some potential buyers may not be prepared to stay up until 2.25 in the morning, the end time is something I always consider when selling on ebay.
  25. You've checked the starter motor and contacts etc?
