    Thanks Steve - after spending the day with these guys at Pembrey on Sunday, I think they pass the bar you've set, so to speak Will phone them tomorrow and see if they're up for it.

    Steve This open to non-members yet? I know some people with a Westfield who may be interested, although not sure if this can run (or if you'd want it to)? It has wheel guards, so I don't think it's classed as open wheel cheers Jon

    Just stick it in 'D' and leave it alone. I've only ever used Manu a few times and even at RAF Marham and at the Ring, I only knocked the lever back to 2nd for slow speed corners. Don't find Manu does anything noticeable TBH. Once you know how the care behaves, you know when it's about to change up or down

    Well, spent 2 hours cleaning the Supra this afternoon and it's now raining and the wind has blown leaves all over it Hope it clears up for tomorrow

    Holy sh*t, that T4 trailer is possibly the best trailer I've ever seen for a film. Definitely want to see that, and with NIN on the soundtrack, it's a double positive!!

    I've gone from owning a Supra TT (BPU) to an MR2 Rev 3 Turbo (still got Supra ) and I'm always impressed with the speed of the MR2 off the line. It's running 1.1 Bar boost and feels really quick, particularly on the lanes But the Supra always shocks me with the devastating speed from a rolling start. To be fair, it's not bad from stationary actually, 13.08 at Supra Pod You won't be disappointed, but I doubt there'd be much in it up to 100 if you were going from a modified MR2 Turbo to stock TT

    Technically, yes, although I'm doing a company sponsored MSC whilst working full time, which is not easy! Don't recommend it if you value your social life

    Pechey, have you seen this garage actually replacing the engine? Is it possible they're fobbed you off saying "it needs a new engine" and then simply changed the cambelt and got it working properly? What's happened to your old engine, as it's possibly OK and you could sell it to someone who's looking for a NA/TT conversion. Subject to it being checked out of course

    am a member, but it can sometimes be a bit of a thread graveyard - no where near as many members as on here and loads on here had MR2's before Supras, so always worth a try:) Am on IMOC too and have posted up, but not seen twobrutal - cheers

    Am looking to fit an aftermarket smaller wheel for track days to my Rev 3 Turbo. As usual this is a minefield with the Rev 3 seeming to be different to other MR2's, so dubious of buying unless it's been removed from another Rev3 Turbo cheers

    I would but I'm driving to Manchester on Saturday afternoon to fly to the States for a week long training course, so haven't got time to fit it in I'm afraid Also - I don't have my car at the moment as one of the front coil springs has snapped - hopefully getting some replacements from Eibach under warranty next week, so the work can be done while I'm away
