  1. Done that skipper. Seems fine?
  2. OK judging by the lack of posts looks like I'm being a div, again. Been watching too much telly:D
  3. Just had a service and brake fluid replacement. Now the warning lights have come on three times today in normal driving for a second then gone off. Checked fluid, lights etc seems OK. Anyone know anything? Says DOT3 fluid only on the pot I'll check what they put in. Could it just be the system getting re-circulated? Am I about to die at high speed? I'll put a camcorder in the cockpit just in case. Jackass eat your heart out. Cheers J.
  4. Is there anything simple one can do to get tech data out of the Supra? IE somehow connect a serial cable to a PC etc? If so what sort of stuff can you get out.
  5. Sorry Brian I had been drinking. I'm sober now. ..........Burp
  6. This is an after pic when I got new springs. I forgot to fit the new springs.
  7. Phil did mine for me. Just jack up ya mota and put axle stands under to stop yourself getting mashed. You can access all the bolts with your torque wrench then. J.
  8. I had spluttery problems at high boost. Then I got some NGK PFR7B 4853 laser platinum plugs and everything was sweet there after. Got em off Chris Wilson. J.
  9. Not being funny but did you ease the throttle or stamp on it? With my auto it took me a while to learn how to get a pretty instant kick in the seat you may be looking for mate. So try driving it normally then stamp on the throttle. This should impress. If not you probably need to look at a Zonda or Maclaren F1 :flame Dev J.
  10. If you take out the per in bumper. It says Bum Splitter. Funny that I thought.

You can do it yourself mate piece of p*ss. I did and I'm no car doctor. There should be a colour coded wiring diagram on the TRL website. That's what I used and it worked fine. J.
  12. Mate I had exactly the same problem when I upped my boost. To fix it I bought and fitted 6 x NGK Laser Platinum spark plugs (PFR7B 4853) Problem went away and car goes like stink now without blowing rasberries under high throttle. :flame Dev I got mine from Chris Wilson above. J
  13. Bugger it. I can't go to this one. I'll be flying out of Gatwick in an American passenger jet. I'm gonna take a bag of chaff in my hand luggage I think just in case. :(
  14. Probably C) Take the scalp off your head and D) Snap the car in half! Could do a fast&furious and leave the bolts loose so that it flys off at 120. Be good for the cameras!:flame Dev See ya 2morrow guys
  15. Who's up for doing 180 mph with the aerotop out
  16. I think the middle one is only a latch and needs to be turned 90 degrees. The other 4 are the screws. My middle allen key hole is all knackered and rounded off but I just turn the allen key in it at an angle and that seems to work. I'm sure ou could buy just a new component though. J.
  17. So boys is it 9.00am at Tescos for us Supes then??? J :flame Dev :flame Dev :flame Dev
  18. Good job you chickened out mate coz your spoiler could have been ripped off and sent into orbit! It'll knacker your paintwork too with the harsh brushes and chemicals dude. DON'T DO IT!
  19. It's your car and its a Supe so just enjoy mate..... :flame Dev PS My bird ain't a great fan of my Supe and the way I drive it but she has an Astra Merit 1.4, nuff said.
  20. Thanks for the serious response Ian. Yes Terminator checked the front sub frame bolts for me in his garage. He torqued up all the bolts to spec. Cheers
  21. Yes I have kicked all four tyres. They seemed to be a bit rubbery but I hear this is normal. Haven't checked the donkey flange yet, I'll wait till she gets home from work. Thanks for your help twisted fella .
  22. You sarcky bugger. I mean something that is not within the expectations of the normal suspension operation, i.e. 'something unusual' Dom Wheel nuts are all present and torqued. Anyone know how many bushes there are total to be potentially replaced? Chris Wilson where are you OB 1?
  23. Right here we go: Problem: When going hard round a hairpin something dodgy seems to happen to the suspension. Driving hard nice and smooth then something seems to clonk and the steering wheel vibrates like mad and then the car vibrates even more when I apply the brakes after this. It seems like something shifts whilst going round a tight bend. This vibration then stays, sometimes goes away, but mostly stays for all types of driving. I've had this problem for some time but only just noticed that it is triggered by going hard round a bend. I have changed shocks in between times, checked brake disk runout, torqued up all suspension bolts. There appears to be nothing visibly wrong after close inspection. Would old knackered anti roll bar bushes cause this? Any other suggestions? Thanks guys.
  24. Defo go for the Valvoline Synpower 5w50 mate. A lot on here do I think. :flame Dev
  25. Hmmm. maybe check the diff then mate.
