  1. We already have the thin bit that comes from the front of the bonnet, but we need : The Box The Box Cover The piping that comes out of the box, if it's separate. thanks This is what we have at the moment: http://www2.css-networks.com/shroom.JPG
  2. It's got ABS but no TC. I think it has 140bhp but I found it wasn't very torquey. Awesome to drive at low speed though - the gear change is the best I've ever felt in any car. It's just crap on the motorway - the steering stays really light and wobbly.
  3. That's the crazyest thing She's already paid-up as Bubbly Bozo. Oh well it was a tacky name anyway. It's all money for the club
  4. I've already got one! She's copying me horns and all
  5. Well it's been fine all day. Started up about three times so far and hopefully once more shortly. You wouldn't beleive the earache I got for borrowing the battery from the un-taxed un-insured N/A that's sat on my driveway and won't be being touched until tomorrow "how do I know you've not swapped the engine". "will it not damage the battery, since yours is not a Jap-spec".. "really pissed off". "knew you'd start taking things off it". I won't be charging for fitting the RSR tomorrow, or the heater matrix or electronics I've fixed. Anyone want a gobby bird?
  6. Well the good battery made no difference. After much pissing about and messing with starter connections, it 'nearly started' a few times (really sounded like a tired battery, but I know this one is good), then it started. I will be checking the earth and starter motor connections when I get home later. cheers
  7. Yeah I guess this is the lack of "cold crank amps" then. I have so many places to be today too :grrr: I could take my mums Mazda 323 or I could nick the battery out of the NA... yeuck oil.. grrr.
  8. "click" "click" "click" My battery is in very poor condition, but I don't *think* this is the problem, because I have had the charger on it for the last half hour. This has happened a few times lately, and very strangely, mashing the accelerator pedal a few times has allowed the car to start.. sometimes it sounds very tired like the battery is weak, then it's fine. It's almost as if the engine is too stiff and mashing the accelerator helps free it up. Hmm. Except today, where nothing I do will start it, and I am here with a suit and tie on, with oil on the sleeve Help, please!
  9. It's only on imperfect roads, so where there's slight movement in the road. It's as if the suspension is not responding to the bumps properly.. hmm.
  10. Probably something to do with your Speedo or Odometer. The car doesn't know what speed it's doing and what gear to select. Most likely Speedo since my auto ran ok without the ODO. Just power steering that went to shit.
  11. Hmm, no it doesn't. My UK car has one but I have it disabled at the mo and haven't noticed any difference really.
  12. Bit too big for my liking those Breitlings
  13. The NA feels very wobbly and boat-like above 80mph, in an almost unsafe way. It's like it's bouncing from side to side. What is the most likely cause of this? Springs or Shocks? The car is lowered and running 18s. The wheels look to have an obscene amount of negative camber. Could this be the cause?
  14. which one? The thinkpad that I bought for myself (you been checking my Feedback? ) or the one I'm selling?

  16. I don't want to sell my telly, but I think it's about time I got myself a nice watch again. I'm pretty fussy about watches, but there are so many out there so maybe someone has something nice? I like slim dress watches, Cartier Santos round, Pasha & Must De Cartier. I had a lovely 'Jaguar' quartz tank watch but I lost it somewhere. Some of the Raymond Weil watches are okay. This telly is really pretty awesome. It's a 26" LCD, it's HDTV ready (high resolution), and check this out - it's a Digital (Freeview) telly, with a CAM slot for the 'Top-Up TV' cards. Plug it straight into a normal aerial and you've got instant E4, Men & Motors etc. It's also got a DVI connector for your computer. The resolution is something like 1280x768-ish (a little more if I remember correctly). So, does anybody have a nice watch? Or anything else that might brighten up my life? http://www.sam-e.co.uk/philips.jpg

  19. god damn it. I said why won't it let me have a capital D?
  20. I agree.. and am trying to explain this to the tart. As soon as we saw a 'Ruby Red' one, everyone's (including my) first comment was "that's not a stock colour.. serious alarm bells"
