  1. Clear side repeaters should be number 1 on your list.
  2. Allright kiddo keep your knickers on.
  3. This is what's happening to me, more and more often. Basically if I try to start it'll usually start on about the tenth attempt. I'm thinking that the clicking is the solenoid, so that's okay, so perhaps the big power cable from the solenoid to the starter is what's at fault, as the symptoms are pretty close to those of a flat battery, so I guess the starter isn't quite getting enough juice. How does one get to the starter and solenoid to have a play? Here's the sound anyway.. http://www.css-networks.com/click.wav Thanking you for any help
  4. Well I guess it shows that I haven't had any catastrophic detonation, but I didn't really need any help in seeing that. I've got to fit a wideband some day soon..
  5. I've no idea why the nuts are more oxidised on all except no5. Must be when I jetwashed the engine bay
  6. Actually slightly more than 15k. I must have bent no1 on removal as I checked them with my torch as soon as they came out and I'm sure I'd've noticed that. They did all go in at the same time.
  7. They are what Pete Betts recommended more than once, and seem to have run the car very well for the last year! I did however read that you said for some reason platinum-tipped wasn't a good idea. Anyway, they are BKR7 'E' I think means platinum centre-electrode and VX means it is the very fine VX tip.
  8. Well, actually I think when I bought mine, they cost me around £86 + vat, and I did get the ~15% discount, so perhaps retail is £104 and you've been given a better discount than I got at my local dealer at the time.
  9. Standard rears were only around £80 each anyway (+ vat), it's the fronts that were something stupid like £270 + vat each I think.
  10. My experience has been that the 'standard' e.g. those black Tokiko-something-or-other don't last too well. I replaced rears only for them to need replacing again less than a year later. This is no doubt due to my 19" rims. I have since replaced all four shocks with USED Billies, and everything is great.
  11. Oh do be quiet! It's you who gets fat injected into your lips!!
  12. Inchape Toyota (CJs contact) got me both breather pipes within 2 days last week. Might be worth a try.

I am of course winding you up. I do hope he gets found, feel pretty sad for the parents.

Here ya go. He's called Percy http://www2.css-networks.com/percy.jpg
  15. Yeah. Mine was the same (Storm Blue) and I'd thought it was normal because of the plastic bumper and metal rear quarter (for some reason I thought that..) anyway when having a ding fixed a couple of weeks ago he blended it in. Much better now.

Nah. One of my mates found it or something. It's only a baby
  17. That's tidy. I really do like white Supras now. The rear bumper needs repainting though.

I've just recently picked up a penguin (no pun intended). He's so cute
  19. 2.5L Turbo, ~220BHP. I reckon there could be a few tweaked ones about in the not too distant future!
  20. The thing is.. most of us really go to town on our cars. If there's anything not right, it gets sorted. For example (here's what springs to mind for mine): shocks replaced springs replaced drop-links replaced lower-control arm replaced due to bad balljoint boot rubbers etc etc. we like to keep our cars 'right'. A 100,000 mile 1993 Honda Civic wouldn't get that sort of care and attention, partly because it'd be worth about £500. That's the difference IMO.
  21. Can anyone please tell me.. how do these look? They've been in the car (a UK spec BPU) for a slightly extended period. I'm presuming number 6 is closest to the bulkhead, and number 1 nearest the front bumper. http://www.css-networks.com/plugs.jpg
