    New Lotus Esprit

Have you seen the little paragraph right at the end?
  2. Yep, I've supplied a few of the DVB-T Sticks. These are tiny, about the size of a USB Flash drive/pen disk. Freecom do one, but I found the OEM branded one to be better.. better remote control, much better software. Cost was ~£30 - £35. I had a PCI card in my PC for it, and that worked well too but it came with shit software. The best software is Cyberlink PowerCinema. I have an Avermedia STB3 at home, which is a standalone DVB-T box but with Db15 VGA output, so it can be hooked straight up to a monitor without a PC. I use it on my XGA projector.
  3. Interiors are usually plush on the non-poverty spec ones. 147 GTA is stunning inside. My GTV was a Lusso (leather & climate) one and the dials and stuff made you feel good
  4. At least parts are affordable Front Wishbone (Lower Control Arm) was £40 from E.B. Spares for my '01 GTV, as opposed to £250 on the Supra
  5. The 8C Competizione is the one to watch for.. after saying no, they have now said they're going to produce it. Was chatting with a customer today who said it will be going OTR @£70k which, if it's as good as the concept, I honestly think is a great price. The car is so frikkin hot, with the Maserati engine as well, that I thought they'd whack a >£100k price-tag on it. After all it is meant to be a marketing thing.

  7. Unfortunately, the car you have pictured isn't the real Alfa Brera, it's the original Brera concept car. The finished car is out now, and although still nice, it's a little toned down and doesn't for me have quite the same magic. I do still like it, and have been asking questions lately. I got a contract hire price on the 3.2 v6 SV of ~£570/month 3yr/10kpa. Bloody Alfa residuals. These new Alfas now have GM engines in them, (apart from the Diesel which I think is Fiat). That's good for reliability (chain-driven cams.. no more broken Alfa V6 cambelts!), but perhaps not good for Alfa spirit The finished car looks much too close to a 147 for me. It's not as wide any more and the hips aren't so profound. It's also lost those trick wing mirrors. All the same, nice. I didn't know there would be a turbo'd one too - that's fab!. I was really glad of the 4WD though, since Alfas of late have all been FWD.
  8. Fitted my Greddy Power Extreme II, and I'm well pleased. It sounds like a smooth six cylinder car now, not a raw muscle car anymore. mmm refinement.
  9. I've got some frustrating 'too late' news for you.. The other hole is the correct size You had the bracket the wrong way around
  10. Look if you guys can't control your girlfriends I can't be blamed for what might happen.. Exhaust now 99% sold to Animal.
  11. right-o. Looks like I'll be buying my new one off Chris Wilson. This means no PayPal and no sending money to Paul E, so we'd need to do cash. Give me a ring anyway, but I'm thinking I'd need to grab cash from you, then get on my merry way to Chris's house 80 miles away. I could either then meet you back later or fit/give you the exhaust tomorrow. Probably best you ring me to discuss. 07766 087 677 cheers!
  12. Sounding like a slight change of plan, but Paul E may not have one available now so I'll have to get Paul to send me back the money he's holding for me and get it from Chris Wilson instead. Still no problem though, and Chris is nearer to me. My phone number is 07766 087 677 feel free to ring as I'm about to go to a different office now. cheers, Carl
  13. alternatively, if you do want it and you're only in Manchester today, I suppose I could have a go at re-fitting one of the old exhaust in my back yard, but I'd rather not.
  14. it's definately got a burbly idle, but it's noticably loud on the off. The salford quays thing is ideal, but I need to have payment before I supply the exhaust as payment is going towards a new one.. the new one is in stock ready for delivery so if someone was to pay Paul E today, I'd pay the rest and hopefully have my new one tomorrow then we could get it done. The replacement baffle (silencer) is being posted to me tomorrow and will be with me friday. Most people don't bother with the baffle but it's best for me to say that I won't have it 'til friday.
  15. Right, if someone sends £250 to Paul E (miami-gt) within the next two hours, they can have it for £250 but delivery will be on top. I'll still fit it F.O.C if the buyer comes over to me.
  16. So does this mean we can't somehow fabricate lots of pipes and fit on one of the superchargers from a new BMW Mini-Cooper S? (They are easily found on eBay from new cars)..
  17. OH.. MY.. GOD! an RSR exhaust for only £300 including free delivery or free fitting!!
  18. Mine doesn't struggle for grip. I have to powerbrake to spin the rears. It is a UK auto though.
  19. I can't beleive this isn't sold already!!
  20. Yup! Thought I recognised it
  21. ah, is that your old NA? Did Lewis buy it? I fitted an RSR to an NA Manual.. it was far too loud (but I will have the baffle with this though).
  22. Who/what's MerTOC? That's suspiciously like a misread of my number plate... I've PM'd Lewis already, I'll PM RedM too..
