Unfortunately, the car you have pictured isn't the real Alfa Brera, it's the original Brera concept car.
The finished car is out now, and although still nice, it's a little toned down and doesn't for me have quite the same magic. I do still like it, and have been asking questions lately. I got a contract hire price on the 3.2 v6 SV of ~£570/month 3yr/10kpa. Bloody Alfa residuals.
These new Alfas now have GM engines in them, (apart from the Diesel which I think is Fiat). That's good for reliability (chain-driven cams.. no more broken Alfa V6 cambelts!), but perhaps not good for Alfa spirit
The finished car looks much too close to a 147 for me. It's not as wide any more and the hips aren't so profound. It's also lost those trick wing mirrors.
All the same, nice. I didn't know there would be a turbo'd one too - that's fab!. I was really glad of the 4WD though, since Alfas of late have all been FWD.
