  1. A long shot- could you not attach this to one of the attachements and block off the other ?
  2. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=73158 Buying this ! Just wondering- as title. Would it be an easy job for an exhaust centre to attched this- as the stock system has two attachments? Cheers
  3. 1) Check for a fault code! Chances are something electrical has poped off and the ECU has picked it up 2) Check the coil pack connectors-The little clips that connect to the coil packs under the spark plug cover. same thing happen to me when I braked hard- one came loose.
  4. 1st DIBBs ME ME ME if its a direct bolt on to a stock exhaust can pick up if you are near London/kent area. Would be good if I can get it by Friday! PM Sent Cheers ArdZ
  5. Following the Governments freedom of information act you can now get access to speed camera offences registered in the last 12 months. Did you know that every time your car goes past a speed Camera, even 1mph over the set limit, it is registered and put on a database? You only get a ticket if you are way over the limit or, (this is the it that we didn't know) if you receive over 20 near misses, you will be classed as a serial offender and get a ticket the next time you go just over the limit. This is why you hear of people being done for 34mph in a 30 limit area whilst others doing 39 do not. You can check what has been registered against your vehicle at the following address http://www.e-database.co.uk You will be asked for a password but just click on 'need a login'. This gets you into the site and you will be given a user name and password for future use. If there is any data on your vehicle you can click on the camera window to see a copy of the photograph.
  6. Hi, I by-passed mine a year ago. Very easy to do-The cooler is only needed if you do hard track driving or autobarn speeds. No problems reported at all. The Jspec don't have the coolers. Just UK specs for the german roads

  10. Can't be fussed with the fog light mod. If I just get the jspec cluster and just plug it in, will I have all the working lights e.g -brake/ rear lamps, indicator and reverse -right! - except for the fog light. During MOT time I will just swap it back to the UK spec cluster to pass the MOT. Is this right-
  11. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=72377 Being thick here. Do I just buy these and plug them in? Fog light mod? Any info on how to do this
  12. Is there a write up for this. I really like the Jspec cluster with the double red light. Much nicer then the UK spec What problems am I likely to come againts. Anyone got any cheap jspec rear cluster CHeers
  13. I use them all the time- Just add 600g of r134a- and a small can of pag oil. Then say every 4 your years get it serviced properly. My car has got 150,000 miles on it and the aircon blows like the artic. "Touch wood"
  14. Hope this is clear Hi- just want to check that you mean the ignition module/coil- the bit that send the sparks to the distributor- not the coil that connects to the spark plugs when you answered yes to my prevuis question. " would this stop the coil working?" Just a little confused as the problem lies with the module not producing a spark. the part that send power to the ditrubutor. If the amp in the ditributor is the problem surely you would still get a spark from the ignition module? sorry about this
  15. I just bypassed it. You don't need it unless you do autobarn speeds.
  16. same thing happen to me. Changed the plugs for a new set and that sorted it.
  17. check in the engine bay. should have a sticker somewhere. look near the charge nipples. If it r134a gas then get a recharge kit from ebay for about £25.
  18. hairdresser car mate. You got to have gel slapped all over your head to keep in trim.
  19. Would this cause the coil not to produce a spark?
