  1. Thought I'd put up some pics after the first wash of 2023. Anyone else got any?
  2. Anyone got one. I see they sell them on whifbitz. But I'm not that into carbon
  3. Cheers have sent @JamiePa message ! Sure he can give me the details Tom
  4. Sure someone had one on here. Any thoughts? https://fmic.eu/en/engine/166430-intake-manifold-fmic-pro-toyota-2jz-ge.html Is this just rebranded alibaba stuff or actually made To a decent standard. Cheers
  5. @Stylesounds good as well mate ! dials look really nice too
  6. @Noz sounds great! which manifold is that?
  7. Got a link to a video? Would love to hear it.
  8. There is a toyota specialist near me in Meopham. I haven't used then personally but he's got lots of older toyotas. Also what's your Supra look like, I'll keep an eye out !
  9. Have been talking to @Mike2JZ who has been super helpful with info on the NA T options. He mentioned the different sounds you get on boost from tubular vs log manifolds. Found lots of NaT using the log manifold from whifbitz. Anyone got a link to a vid the whifbitz GE tubular manifold? And maybe the Srd one too? Although might be out of my price range. Cheers guys !
  10. Hmm. Now I'm thinking I should get hold of a vvti head...
  11. Thanks Mike, that's cleared it up! One of the main reasons was to ditch the distributor as its right in the way! Looking at your build, does the vvti head still use a distributor?
  12. I have been working out how far to go with my NA T conversion. Whifbitz sell a r35 coil on plug conversion kit, which seems to add a lot more control when tuning. So does supra VWorld in Aus. Anyway Supra V requires you to buy https://www.supravworld.com/product-page/dual-cam-crank-trigger-kit-2jz-ge-non-vvti-only Whereas Paul from whifbitz explained to me no changes are required to cam sensor etc. Can someone explain to me what I'm not understanding! Why does one kit need it and one not? Help a dummy out!
  13. Anyone got any recommendations. Seems like they vary wildly in price/ subscription. Want to store the car in a garage away from home during the winter so would be nice to have a way of keeping an eye on it !
  14. I am going to be doing the work. But you are right, better to buy reliable stuff and do it once!
  15. I'll probably end up going with whifbitz. Just wondered if anyone on here had any experience with the CX quality etc?
  16. To bring this back from the dead, what na-t kits are people using? There is obviously the whifbitz one. What other manifolds etc are people using ? Hear good and bad about some ebay stuff like cxracing. Never know what is true and what is bs. Obviously don't want to blow up my GE but at the end it's not a GTE so would be good to keep some kind of lid on the budget. If a GTE was less then 5k then I'd drop that in, but I think that time had passed! Thoughts supra geniuses ?
  17. See you guys at 9 tomorrow then! How many convoying in?
  18. Ah I see, makes sense. Not to worry will still be good to see all the Supras! I'll come and say hi! Unfortunately we couldn't do the full weekend, maybe next year!
  19. Got tickets for the Saturday. What time will we need to be there to get the car onto the stand with you guys ? Excited to meet you guys and see so many supras in one place!
  20. Awesome thanks guys. Helpful with the planning and budgeting !
  21. I've been reading on what ecu you buy largely depends on who you taking the car to map it. Who have we got down south (east preferably)? And what ecus do they prefer. Looking on whifbitz they sell the halltech for a reasonable price then seem to suggest a bunch of different ones. Information on my aim is na-t most likely. Gtes are getting too pricey.
  22. Oh yes I know the place. Will do. Be good to meet some Kent owners.
  23. Oh yes it's not far away from me at all. Should be free. Where at bw do you meet? Roof or inside ?
  24. Great response. Thanks for the info. I only have the gasket kit. So I'll order a drier too. Basically trying to avoid my aircon guy sending the compressor off to be reconditioned for weeks and not have the car on the road. Will give them a call and see if they can do it themselves if I have all the parts ready.
  25. I just bought the gasket kit from RA. Turned up nice and quick. And good guides on getting the compressor out? I have a leak so I'm assuming there isn't really much refrigerant still In there? So much so the ac clutch won't allow it to run .
