just had my pancakes,,, yum yum!
  3. What a PITA! They really are a bunch of knobs arn't they. I thought the 'free' inspections were a lure to get you in the door so they can find 101 things wrong with the car and kindly offer to fix them for you. they have obviously gone a step further now and are charging for 'free' inspections. I guess most people would be like "oh go on then" but not you my man!!
  4. Oh.... and I've always wanted a 3.2 supra!! bugger!
  5. I've got one mate, very happy with it. got loads of features that are all easy to use. Like the others, I thought the keypad was a bit small, but you do get used to it. I'd reccommend the phone :alien:
  6. Hi mate - I think that one is the equivilent of a 'systems warning' It came on in my car when the speedo stopped working. Was the car running okay?? not too much to worry about. Run a diagnostic on it mate.
  7. LOL!!! he's even drilled some more holes in above the top hinge where he obviously Fu**ed it up!!! either that or he was on a weight saving mission!!

    skid advice

guys - I found this advice about skidding on a website. What do you make of it. I always thought that with a rear wheel 'skid' it is better to keep some power on to keep the weight on the back wheels.... here it is; The rear wheel skid Characteristics The rear of vehicle swings out of line and gives the impression of trying to overtake the front (oversteer); see figure 2. Cause As with the front wheel skid, excessive speed into the hazard and sudden braking or acceleration with a rear wheel drive vehicle, destabilising the vehicle, are the main causes of this skid. Remedy Again take the right foot off the accelerator or brake and depress the clutch, then steer in the direction that the back of the vehicle is sliding (steer into the skid). Beware of correcting the steering too much as this may cause the vehicle to slide back in the opposite direction. As with the front wheel skid, these actions should be simultaneous, to prevent the back of the vehicle from building up too much momentum and sliding out of control.
