I dont think your stickers call out for someone to nick your supra, The fact that its a supra does that by itself. Judging by what some people have said, it might put them off anyway!! They were like that when it came over from japan mate. Personally I am still undecided. I do like the look of them, and I dont know of ANYONE else who has them, so they are good in that respect. But I also really like the standard rear light cluster so.........

It certainly is very weird, When I was getting quotes for my car (94 SZ) I was getting quoted £2000 from tesco. When I bought the car and gave them the registration it went down by £800!!!!! this is because it is appearing on their records as a 3.0L Coupe. No mention of an SZ at all. They were as shocked as me and told me I had to check the registration docs when I got them. The docs say it is an imported 2997cc Toyota Coupe. Not even a mention of Supra, never mind SZ!! although it did come up as a supra on tesco's records. This is VERY weird and I am a little worried about the validity of my insurance. But surely they cant get out of a claim if this is what it says on the reg documents. If I wasn't into Supras so much, I wouldn't know any different (SZ etc) would I????

I'm no expert but: N/A = naturally aspirated (no turbos) and is just a technical term. The SZ part comes from toyota to differenciate from the RZ and GZ models which both have turbos. I think some SZ's are not described as such when they are registered in the UK. they are simply registered as 3.0l supras. Hope this helps.

No, its NOT the side-lights (the oval lights on the bottom of the lighting set) its the third smallest light in the main set. Why do you think it will be expensive?? its just the near side bulb that has blown a few times, all of the others are fine, which is why i was thinking about fuses. Surely if the alt was generating too many amps, then I would be seeing more bulbs than this single one blowing??

Hi guys, Can you help me??? One of my headlight bulbs is repeatedly blowing. its the smallest of the three large lights, i.e not the full beam or the standard beam. the one controlled with its own switch. I would suggest it is a fuse problem, but dont really have any idea which fuse in the box is for what!! any ideas?? Thanks in advance, Red.

Thanks for all your words of wisdom. I've checked the PS fluid and it is low, so I'm gonna get it Filled ASAP. DEX II sound right to you guys. Is the halfrauds stuff ok, or is it advisable to go to Toyota?? About the other ones... I know it sounds dodgy!! I guess its impossible for you guys to say what it is without actually being with the car. Just wanted some pointers, so thanks for that. I'm gonna see about taking out all that polystyrene from the boot area, sounds like a good idea. And will prob order some new boot rubbers too! Thanks again, Red

Hey guys, Had the supra a few weeks now and there are a few noises that are worrying me and I dont know what they are! Any advice from you lot would be MUCH appreciated! 1) there is a noise that sounds like a high pitched 'E E E E E E' coming from the front end somewhere on idle. Sometimes it sounds as if it is coming from the belts at the front? When I have been sitting in traffic jams, I can also hear a similar (louder one) but I dont know if its the same? this one goes away when i depress the clutch pedal a slight amount. A new clutch has been put in recently, but it has at least a couple of thousand miles on it. 2) Is it normal for the power steering to make a quite audiable (VERRRRRRRRR) sound when im turning stationary or at low speeds?? sometimes when I'm getting near full lock, it makes a MUCH louder vibrating noise for about 1.5 seconds. this is worrying me!! 3) How do you stop all that bloody racket coming from the back/boot area???? Very nice mate, It definately suits the White car. Good old fareham creek hey!! I used to play down there when I was a kid. I grew up in fareham and go back all the time to see my mates. There seem to be a lot of supes in the area, must be something in the water (Tap water that is......not fareham creek!!)
