  1. Thx dewd, I think I may have a fight on my hands, oh goody!
  2. Thx dewd, very much appreciated. Due to work and lots of other stuff going on in my life including a divorce, I have not been active on here at all for years. I do however want to come back on and be part of things and wanted to have my car back on the road, as me turning up in my Golf really woudnt cut the mustard! Don't get me wrong its a nice car, but its not a Supra even though it's driven like one! Note to self, must get new tyres and brakes soon! LOL
  3. Thx dewd, The body came back last July without an engine and that was 1.6 years after it was taken away in November 2018. I was disappointed at first, but James said that he didnt have a workshop and when he did, he would get the car back to refit the engine. Obviously last year was a proper hole, so I gave hom the benefit of the doubt. Earlier this year, I found a local garage to refit the engine and contacted him in April to start the process of getting the engine back. When I contacted him he told me that the engine was in his friends lockup and he didnt have the key. Later on I was told that his friend had girlfriend issues and was incommunicado, which was around 20th April. I left it till 30April to contact him again and since then I have had complete silence.
  4. I didnt realise that Paul was so close, the last time i saw him he was still in the South East from memory. Yeah I have a hard time trusting people, but James came recommended on here so thought I was in good hands. Looks like I was VERY wrong on this. Have just taken a look to the top of the thread and the car left me in November 2018 and was returned in July 2020........ Does anyone have an address for James, my car was picked up from my house and the body delivered back, so I do not know where his operations are whatsoever?
  5. Thanks dewd, if I came along it would be in my Golf right now as I don't know if I will have a Supra back on the road right now..... Why are people such Fing Aholes and screw people over.
  6. I don’t think so I’ve been trying to get hold of him since 30 April. Can someone please help me as I need to get in touch with him.
  7. Afternoon all, Can anyone give me another number for James as I need to get hold of him and getting no response?
  8. Afternoon all, James has got the skeleton of the car sorted and is trying to get it painted, so am hoping it's not going to be too long now!
  9. Have spoken to James at Performance@Hart and the car is being picked up on Tuesday morning. I should get back in the spring and will hopefully be as good as new!
  10. Good afternoon all, I need help from a mechanically minded member ideally in South West England. My Supra has been off the road for a few years now, haven't had money to keep running but now in much better situation so would like to get back on the road. I need to get the car sprayed as well, as the paint job started to go crappy a long time ago but didnt have the funds to sort out. I do now have some funds (not unlimited) so can do something about it. When the car was rested up it was running, however have now tried to get moving again and car won't start at all. I posted up a few weeks ago asking questions about getting started as my Brother was going to be doing the work. Long and the short of it, I now need to find someone to do the work on the car, as Brother has changed jobs and now doesn't have time and just want to get it sorted. Can someone in the South West (I live in Gloucester to give current location of the vehicle) please come back to me if you can undertake the task?
  11. Hi Scoot, Yeah that would be awesome thanks! After a bit more investigation, we are questioning the Autowatch 160 RLi thats installed too. It has been in the car for 20 years and could be borked. It's just finding out how to de-wire the thing at the minute to test the theory, any ideas where I could find a wiring guide to temporarily uninstall it please?
  12. Evening all, I haven't been on here for a very long while! Am looking to get the big red monster going again, he is looking very sorry for himself currently. Currently we are unable to get him started at all. My brother who is doing the spanner work says that there is no signal getting ot the signal wire of the starter. He has tested the starter and it works when bypassed, as do all the solenoids. He has suggested getting a new ECU, as the Supra workshop manuals we've got point back to the ECU if there is a problem starting like we have. Are we barking up the wrong tree please? Regards, Ash
  13. I think I have one of those in 3L2 red to match my car? What are u looking to pay for it.?
  14. Morning all, I finally got my B.R.B. off the drive after a lot of sodding about with alarms and stuff, and down to the MOT station. Failed on rear OS shock and zorst cat back. Not bad considering it has done around 200,000 miles and has original stock cats! Am happy it was nothing more than that, as I was expecting more stuff to have failed! Have got a supplier for 4 stock shocks and now a zorst, so hopefully should be back on the road v.shortly. Does the SEM still happen monthly at The Fairmile please guys.? As if it does we may pop down when we're back on the road. Have a great Saturday and hope the wind isn't too bad where you are.? Gloucester is getting a bit of a battering currently, have lost a few fence panels already!! L8rz Ash.
  15. Hi guys it looks like I need the cat back bit of the exhaust. Nevons, thanks for your comment will contact them.
  16. Morning all, I hope you have all survived the storms of late without too much destruction! Have just got the car MOT'd and it failed on Rear OS shock and exhaust. Has anyone got a stock exhaust in their garage please.? I'm going to take the car back to stock, not bothered about max power, just glad to have him back on the road ;&) Have a great weekend everyone!
  17. Is the starter motor still available please.? Ash.
  18. I may have one. Have got Tein Super Streets on my car currently, but they are due to coming off soon as they are leaking. Will have a look in the shed and message back.
  19. Hi all, Car is going in for MOT next weekend, and I think it's going to fail on shocks, which are leaking. Am looking to go back to stock shocks and suspension, so am looking for some original Billsteins. Can imagine there are loads sitting in peoples garages, as they have uprated them to something better. So can someone give me an idea how much they want for the set of four please.?
  20. A buddy of mine has got an R34 and has been dyno'd at something like 500+ bhp at Abbey. However he has spent several £1000's at Abbey getting them to do work on his car in the past.
  21. Thx guys, Yeah has been a pretty long while I know, and have missed you all! Car has been grounded for a year or so, and am hoping the MOT on Saturday goes well. If it all goes south I will be coming to ask you guys if you have parts for sale. I think I'm possibly going to need shocks and suspension as it stands, and will be going back to standard for everything, so has anyone got any Billstein shocks hanging around in their garage that are gathering dust please.? LOL
  22. Evening all, Apologies for the rather long hiatus in posting anything on the forum, and generally disappearing into the paintwork. Marty and I have had a shed load of stuff going on and along with job and house moves and general BS, we haven't been about! The Supe has been grounded for the last year or so, have not had the money to run him. But things are on the up job wise, etc so am getting him back on the road. Have got an MOT booked for next weekend and should be back on the road v.soon. We have missed coming to the Fairmile meetings every month, so are looking forward to coming along again in the future. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year, Marty and I look forward to seeing you all soon. All the best, Ash.
