Sorry for the lateness in posting this thread, but we had a busy day yesterday and today has been equally busy.
As all of you know, the laws in the UK allowing gay couples to marry was passed on 5th Dec. We couldn't have the ceremony for 16 days after the registration, which was yesterday.
The ceremony was excellent, the registrar performed the ceremny without a hitch. But just incase, he gave us advanced apologies if he slipped up, as the Civil Partnership ceremony is different to his usual ones.
We had our reception at the local Cricket Club House. The ladies there put on a lovely spread and the wedding cake(s) was provided by our very own master of the piping bag, Sheena aka Amazing Grace.
