    Arthroscopy

Had my third done 2 weeks ago...dont worry its not painfull, well has never been for me.I was walking the dog the next day, no stiches for the op now just strips for 10 days. Good tip 4 u, if you want a shower after, i used cling film aroung my leg to keep the water out of the dressing..it worked really well. I think iam getting addicted to operations as i really love the feeling after, when you are waking up. I Still have to have an acl replacment yet, that not so good so i have heard :-( Good luck!
  2. Its a vauxhall what do you expect... they are full of problems...where would i start? Get hold of a scanner or a tech 2 and go from there! Could be vac pipes from your egr valve, tps sensor, throttle body clogged up, air leak on the inlet manifold gasket, throttle body gasket split, tps incorrect signal, lamda sensor, coolent temp sensor...the list goes on.....Remember if it is an air leak the engine will try and compensate for it and will go on a learning process...
  3. I have the one which is just a gauge, not the controller combined. Very nice and accurate...wont fit straight into the facelift clock space though as i found out....
  4. Looks cool...got a mate on the retrorides forum with an old Astra Mk1 gte...might be a place for you to hang out and see if there are any more around?
  5. I vote for a Mini meet at virgina water :-)
  6. If i were going to respray mine it would have to be like the "Aston martin gulf colours"
  7. remove your first cat possibly?
  8. I was round that way the other day but it wasnt me!
  9. I love the black ones....almost as nice as silver;)
  10. I have the same, i think its 30 and 5 on the rear...there has always been a little controversy over what the ride height is with this kit....i think the 25 on the rear is incorrect as you can tell when its fitted the drop on the rear is minimal, i put it down to an printing error. look here at whifbits site... http://garagewhifbitz.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=7543&category_id=2310&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=53 Iam not having a go, its just what i have always been let to believe....but if iam wrong i take it all back;)
  11. I think its 5mm on the back and 25mm on the front...no speed bump issues either:)
  12. Here is a picture before and yes all the steering geometry has been done, see here..http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=192709.....massive improvement.
  13. Just thought i would put this pic up as i have had the eibachs springs and yellow billies on now for about a month and the car has settled down nice.
  14. Hi guys, Promised my mate that i would put this up after he and i set up my supra TT on his new 4 wheel laser alignment. Got to say the car has been transformed since its been done, definitely getting the best out of my yellow billies and eibach's now:) members can get it for £70 +vat if you tell him your from the club and that you read about it here! For that you will get camber/caster/toe front and rear checked and adjusted....Steve is the main man so ask for him! Here is a link to his place in Kew (west London) http://www.motorwiseofbrentford.co.uk/11.html I think a couple of other members have been there and have also rated him....i known him 7 years now and he's a Top bloke and wont rip you off. Here are some photo's of mine getting done:)
  15. With there test equipment of course...and light may not come on as its a possibility it still could be charging but just not enough. Vauxhalls would probably use tech 2 test equipment snap-on scanner, a snap-on alternator tester or a multi meter.....so on .... sounds like your best taking it to a mechanic ;-)
  16. b fine then...softer than j-spec remember
  17. Lights would look normal while the engine is running as the alternator would be putting power to the battery...if they are not then the alternator has probably had it. so if the alternator has not been charging the battery then this is why it is slow to turn over...using the car has also been slowly taking all the charge/power from the battery hence draining it. It may not be necessary to replace the battery if its not been totally discharged for any long period of time. replace the battery if the alternator seem so be charging, as it might have a dead cell. Good luck!
  18. They would have been wrong as the uk is a TT and an N/A has different springs due to being a non turbo. These would have jacked up your front end[sHOCK][/sHOCK]
  19. Again some fantastic Supes there...wished i could have made it :-(
  20. Done properly..no! do a BPU search here:rolleyes: best to keep it under 1.2bar boost with the jap spec turbos. Iam now on my third supe and i have used them for my daily runner and as just a toy and they work great for both...the mpg will hurt some people for a daily runner if your coming from an economic diesel.
