  1. I just got mine done last week: £380 for RPS street sport clutch £95 for skimming flywheel £200 for labour (clutch + flywheel)
  2. I unplugged my spoiler ECU to get rid of the warning triangle. The ECU is behind the stereo. I think it's the small one on top. Unplug it and see what happens
  3. Everytime I went over a speedbump I was creaking... But once I got those bolts tightened the car is silent going over bumps again
  4. All the info you need should be in this thread mate: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3406
  5. Make sure you get the subframe bolts tightened as well. That removed a lot of my noises. I just need to sort out my driver side speaker, which is making noises everytime I hit a slight bump in the road. I really can't be arsed taking off the door panel just to fix a screw though
  6. Why are there 3 horns as standard? Edit: Just noticed it tells ya on the pic: high pitched, low pitched & security.
  7. I've had the midpipe and downpipe installed since the summer. And I already explained to you that I shouldn't need a boost controller, since the jap imports boost so high when decatted that they need a rectrictor ring to keep the boost down
  8. Maybe there's a brake fluid leak somewhere?
  9. If the turbos blow can you just disconnect a VSV to disable them, then drive the car without turbos?
  10. Nice! My clutch is fucked just now, so the car is in getting an RPS clutch fitted. Oh and I finally got my catback fitted
  11. Looking good Markus! Any news on the single?
  12. Some good suggestions here I'll have a look at removing the bumper tomorrow. Never taken it off before, so hopefully it will be straight forward. If not I'll call and let the recovery people know that the car may have trouble going on the truck.
  13. I've booked the car into the garage on friday and I'm gonna use my recovery breakdown service to get it there. The clutch is on it's last legs, so the car is pretty much undriveable just now, so I might as well make use of their service since I paid extra for it. I was just thinking earlier that I might have problems getting the car onto the truck, since I've got a pretty big bumper (AbFlug). Multistory car parks cause the bumper to scrape, so it is prety low. Anyone got any tips for getting the car onto the truck?
  14. I just bought an RPS Sport Street clutch from Paul: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=28681 There's a guide on how to change a clutch on a 6 speed TT here: http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/clutch/index.html Not sure how much use it is to you though... I got quoted between £100 and £200 to replace the clutch.
  15. Thanks for the help guys! The problem is definately related to the accelerator, so I don't think it's the air con. I'm gonna book it into the garage and get them to check it out, but I think it's gonna be the clutch. I'll keep you informed
  16. Thanks for the help! Which parts are needed to replace a clutch? Just the actual clutch, like the RPS Sport Street , or do you need other bits and pieces as well?
  17. Ok I've been out for a drive now.... The problem is happening on any level of boost. Even when I just press the accelerator 1 inch the revs jump up, then down, then start climbing again. Could this be a fuelling issue?
  18. If it is my clutch slipping, is the only solution a new clutch?
  19. Thanks for the advice mate, it's appreciated! The only performance mod so far is a double decat pipe, although I still have the standard catback on, so there isn't much gain from the decat yet. It's pretty wet outside, but once it dries up I'll take it for a spin to see if it's happening on all gears, or just 3rd and over.
  20. I think mine shows -0.7 (minus .7)
  21. My clutch pedal has started squeaking, but I was gonna oil the pedal to get rid of that... Could it be my clutch about to go?
