  1. We're getting there! Lots more time now in lockdown...
  2. A job I wasn't looking forward to was replacing the ignition barrel assembly, turned out a lot better than I thought and had the bonus of being able to keep the original lock barrel so there's still only one key
  3. And tonight I had the treat of splitting the J-spec headlights and working the magic with the metal cleaners and polish kicking round the shed Really happy with the results!
  4. After summoning the motivation (mostly to get my yard clear of it) I started to remove bits of the horrible kit: Removing the 'picnic table' yielded a few extra bolt holes and a lot of black silicone which is a real bugger to remove. And the rear bumper spats aren't much better, can you spot where they were glued on?!
  5. Well, back in October I offered some technical help to my friend to get his 93 NA Auto back on the road, mostly so he can sell it on.... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?354847-Project-potential-93-NA-auto Fast forward a few months, and ....... it's still sat in my yard! The main aim here is to get this girl back to some sort of former glory, clean it up and enjoy driving it about for a while before he takes it back and decides what he wants to do with it. Anyway, here's how it looked originally back in October:
  6. I'm in the market for a spoiler, and I need to paint it anyway. Pricing advice above makes me nervous about spending £100 though....
  7. Is the spoiler still available?
  8. Hi, do the door handles have the lock mounts? I have a door handle where the lock has been punched out :-/
  9. Got one on eBay for 27 smackers, dead chuffed with that
  10. Hi, looking for a couple of boot struts or recommendations on where I might source them. I'm quite handy so don't mind dismantling if Repairs are possible on these units. Thanks!
  11. Hi, in order to fix the attempted theft damage on my 93 NA auto I need an ignition lock housing, lock seems to work fine but the housing is broken. Will need postage to Belfast, Northern Ireland. Ta!
  12. Hi all, Since I've paid my dues, I'm entering down the rabbit hole of Supras! I'm currently fixing up a 93 NA Auto for a friend of mine (in his 70's) but really I'd like to take it on as a project myself, once I can get the house renovation finished up (long 5 year back-to-brick slog finally coming to an end). I started out when I was 19 and built a 1971 MG Midget from scratch around a new heritage shell in tartan red. Lovely car, will get back on the road once the house is done. Second is the 1989 205 GTi that was a bit of a barn find that got rebuilt with a Xsara VTS 2.0 16v (similar to 306 GTi-6 but with a 5 cog box). Koni suspension, Eibach springs, Xsara quick rack, quick shift kit, refurbed rear beam with bigger ARB. Looks quite standard but has 40bhp more than the standard 1.9 so is an absolute hoot to drive. Anyway, enjoy the pics! Keith More pics: https://photos.app.goo.gl/g3d2HjFgxqBGwpZY6
  13. Hi all, I appreciate the kind help and advice I've received here. I'm still just seeking for advice, and I will keep progress updated on the forum here so everyone gets an equal crack at the whip. At what point should I be taking up membership? Apologies if that's in the forum rules and I read that bit too quickly.... :-o
  14. I can't PM yet sadly, will give you a call.
  15. Yep, no problem! The fee is £2k, free Supra for parts! ;-)
  16. Thanks for the advice all, they're not that common so it's hard to get an idea of prices etc. I felt the sills and floor when I went to see it, bit of flakiness at the back of the sills but floors seem solid. Yes @swampy442 it's worth saving. My friend needs it off his driveway (in Belfast), but I would like to see this car restored and giving someone a great fun Supra experience!
  17. Hi all! I've been asked to sell on a 93 JDM NA auto in silver for a friend, just wondering what kind of prices to ask for it. It's a non runner as it's been sitting for 3 years and needs a new battery accessory belt (snapped) and probably a few other bits to get it MoT'd again. I would love a project like this but I have too many other commitments to commit proper time and money to it sadly. :-( Other pics: https://photos.app.goo.gl/g3d2HjFgxqBGwpZY6 Thanks Keith
