  1. They've admitted it's there fault, ask for a car of equal, or better spec. They might have a problem finding something as fast, but it's worth a try. If they get funny just start talking about lawyers and compensation. It might even be worth getting an independant inspection, just to check for hidden damage. Hope it all get sorted for the best.
  2. With the rate of new owners joining theres not going to be many places to meet, well that have a big enough car park. Welcom to the board Annan
  3. Ok waiting on mail from these places what do people think? Ferry OK looking at hotels in brussels as a stop over, as there quite cheap and seems to be the only place in Belgium worth visiting. hotel near brussles 67e single 75e twin Nearer to the ring, hope to get in to hotel close to the ring: 38 euros I think At the moment 1 euro is 67p
  4. No problem you've got far more impotrtant things to think about. Supragirl, i'm still looking into places to stay and getting across the water, Eurotunnel looking expensive, £160 for 5 day return Unless anyone can get us a better deal. Aparently they need more than 15 cars to give a discount. Might have to be the boat.
  5. Unfortunatley Saturday nights on the BBS can be a bit, well silly. A few too many beers and a computer, what havoc. You should see some of the Saturday night threads. I'm sure someone will answer the question in good time. Oh and welcome to the bbs:D
  6. I would have thought there would be enough air, passing through to blow it all out? P.S. never go near fiber glass in the raw state. It's used on planes alot for sound proofing and fire proof cladding. when bloke work with it they wear disposible "sperm" suites, booties, and hats, then tape up every open bit so no fibers can get in the skin. The only way to get rid is to have a dam good shower, then all your doing is breaking the bits off.
  7. Good luck, It's always good to make your dreams reality. I wish you all the best for your new venture, And will be willing to acept, any discounts your willing to issue Hope it all goes well, Tim

  9. How about an aircraft filler cap I've got a friend that works for flight refueling, or there's alway the odd old 'scrap' aircraft round the airport. It'll only take you about a second to fill up as well high pressure fueling.
  10. look here it's the local boy racers site, they organise it. Coud be a laugh.
  11. The road works have a 40? limit around Chievley at the moment. Traffic is always slow around the junction comming from the A34. But it's very easy to get to and central.
  12. have you looked into insurance, will you re-egister the car in the USA. I know people have trouble insuring cas in the UK that are not registered here.
  13. Good job he didn't have the 112.5mph version of the Renault 19

  15. Nice turnout, always an impressive sight. Some pictures Tim's Webshots Can't wait till summer arrives
  16. The car on that site looks like a j-spec, The rear lights and bumper are like j-spec. It's also got a little battery, definatley j-spec. Dont know why it's got horns though
  17. lookHere There's alist of diffrences, the vin numbers etc. Dont forget just look for the horns.
  18. Ok I ordered from this placebulbs r us but, I had to cut the tags, and file down the diameter (off the bit where the rubber sits). It cost me £48ish and i got side lights, dipped, main and fogs. Only if you put in 2 seprate orders. All of them fitted apart from the main (i think) . I think the main and dipped are diffrent wattage too. Hence diffrent arrangement of the tags that stick out. Think that covers it.
  19. I got mine from a company on the net, It was if you buy the dipped you get free side lights (in blue look V.cool) then buy the main beam you get another free set of lamps, I got some yellow fogs. Also look good.
  20. Err yeah, I did, the inner part. If you look at the actual headlamp plastic from the outside of the car, it has the correct type of lamp to use, embossed on the cover. (rigth at the bottom) Which is what I ordered, But there must be a diffrent spec for the same part number in japan:conf:
  21. Is your 'old' car for sale again Brad?link
  22. you need to file the lugs and the circumfrence (sp?) a little bit
  23. Actually i could do with a new watch..
