  1. I think if we're a bit more organised we can get a club pitch, so we can park in the main bit and keep an eye on the cars. Not that I dont trust 17 year olds, with wildspinning front wheel drive Novas.
  2. I'll probanly be going, just round the corner from work, and i'll be working that day so will go stright form work. Could meet at the flying club? cheap beer spicey wedges.
  3. Hi John, where abouts are you comming from? we're staying in leige on thurs night. It would be hellpfull if you know where the ring actually is

  8. if you all get on the 1730, i'll see if i can chage mine if not i'll just have to spend more time buying cheap beer, in the supermarche:D
  9. Don't worry I hear Cj is in to ladies with 4 legs , and kev i'm sure he will be pretty mellow as usual. It's only the trip across the water back home to Blighty, so i'm sure we wont get that lost.
  10. Doh, guess that sailing is full you'll just have to take the later or earlier which ever suites you best. I asked the girl how many spaces there were but she said she couldn't tell me. It doesn't really matter which, just means there will be a bit of waiting around.
  11. sorry you need to put sb/sm3 in the product code bit, when you book on line oops. sorry forgot the lady on the phone was so helpful.
  12. No booked for everyone, because we can pay when we get there. Where as the ferry people want money upfront, and the cancelation fee is almost as much as the fare. so if I booked for everyone then I end up paying if people cant make it. I can book the ferry if you want as long as you promiss to pay Got some info about what you need for trips to Europe genrally: taken from RAC What you need before setting off A valid UK Driving Licence is required A driver's minimum age is 17 A Camping Card International is recommended A Green Card and Motor Insurance certificate is recommended. 15. OK confirming/booking everything tomorrow. i'll let you know
  16. I'm 6ft 4 ish and think its the best driving position i've had. I know what you mean, when the seller doesn't tell the truth especially when you make a long journey to see the car. When I was looking all of the cars were along way away. so I always stressed that I needed to know of any problems before I set out. 1 car didn't even have a vin plate, which I think is quite important. and another you could see when the rear wing had been sanded down with about a 60grip paper through the paint. Just keep looking the right car will turn up eventually.
  17. One of the guys from work said to me, my turbos were noisy pulling into the car park at work, well compaired to his old 200sx. I guess the only reason they sound so noisy is because the first turbo comes in at 1500rpm. Most turbo cars it all starts at 3.5k, but at that rpm every thing else is making alot more noise. personally I like it but thats just me . p.s. mine makes a turbo noise, :D
  18. Is this as close as you can get to your average car having a super chip fitted? As the supra can't be chipped as such.
  19. condesation off of the cold pipes? It happens in planes alot with humid air and cold pipes.
  20. Last call for any intrested people, looking to book this week so pipe-up if intrested.
  21. The pressure is in the minus because, the engine sucks air in, well when the turbos aren't stuffing it in So it's quite normal. Oh welcome to the BBS
  22. Just thinking about the way the hole was made. With an axle stand? I dont work in a garage, or know alot about them but i've never seen axle stands in a big main dealer. Dont they have ramps? I though axle stands genrally were for DIYers. I cant imagine that they would jack up all 4 corners, then put the car on stands, then still have to crawl underneath to do any fluid changes. Just seems strange. Also why would the stand be anywhere near the sump? I would assume this is not a toyota approved jacking point. It does sound a little strange. Check out the damage make sure it's not been holed comming together with something else. If i were in your shoes i'd have alot of questions.
