It's not the same as the JDM ecu I'm afraid
So my only option is to get it fixed somehow or get a UK spec Auto ECU?

Hi all, Could anyone advise if the Aristo ECU would fit a 1995 UK spec supra Auto please? I have attached the Aristo and Supra ECU photos below. Can't read the exact part number of my supra ECU, I would really appreciate for any advice and recommendation please. Another question - this post only allows me to upload photo with size 1mb or less ? How do people upload HD photos on this site ? I was told the Aristo ECU would work on Supra, but I will need to source another relay to run the aircond. Thanks for your advice in advance.

Hi, Engine my supra currently sit on around 3.5k when I am doing around 85 mph... Various forum members suggested the capacitors in the ECU need replacing. Does anyone have a spare ECU for sale ? I am thinking to have capacitors replaced, so would like to buy one to confirm it is an issue before I send it off for repair. Does anyone know the part number please? Is it the same as a JDM auto pre-vvti? Thanks.
Less than 3% difference on both front and rear compared to OE
Ok, thanks for confirming. It does sound like the ECU capacitor issue then. Can someone confirm the part number for the ECU of a 1995 UK spec supra Auto ? I guess there is no difference between the JDM and UK spec supra?
Need to know the width and profile of the tyre to work out the percentage difference to stock
285 rear and 245 front. thanks.

30" and 35" I think (car in storage now).

I took the car to a garage, the mechanic told me that there was nothing wrong... or he was not aware of the capacitor issues in the ECU. Would changing the stock wheels and tyres to 19 inch wheels cause any issue ? I am only asking because I noticed that my speedo is now way off - google maps showing I am doing 70mph when Speedo is just over 60mph. The overdrive button also appears to be working - when turning off the overdrive at 70 or 80 mph, the car would shift down a gear. Although I had no idea if I was actually on 3rd shiftiness down to 2nd or 4th shifting down to 3rd when cursing at 80, but the overdrive off only disengage 4th gear right - it would not have disengaged 3rd? Not sure if my thinking is correct, but it appears as if the big wheels are causing some issues, at least making the odometer reading incorrect. How do I recalibrate the odometer for bigger 19” wheels? Thoughts ?

Yeah I definitely wouldn't mind replacing all the caps, but not sure where to take it to. Also, my O/D Off light only flashes when I put the car in diagnostic mode, error code 27 - something about oxygen sensor, so not sure if related. Anyone know what it means when O/D off flashing only in diagnostic mode and not during normal driving condition? Also, when I was driving at 80 MPH and turned O/D off - rpm went from under 3500 to around 4500... Does it mean that it went from 3rd to 2nd? I thought the O/D Off button only disengage the 4th gear.

Hi Dave, thanks for the info, hopefully an easy enough fix. Could you help identifying which cap that needs to.be replaced?
-
I see, would this be a problem if I changed from the stock to 19inch wheels ? I would have thought odometer reading may be off slightly but did. It realise that it would impact the RPM?
-
Thanks for the advice and information, I will definitely follow this and try it out. Much appreciated.
-
Thanks for the link. This means the rpm of 3500 is way to high sitting at 80, anyone got any suggestion on what could be wrong? Thanks.
-
Hi guys, I have a stock 1995 UK spec Supra Auto. Is it normal to be sitting at 80 MPH, with RPM around 3500? Seem high to me, is it normal, because of the 4 Speed Auto box? Apart from that, car feels perfectly fine...

Hi guys, I have just managed to regal the air cond garage confirmed that it was working fine and blowing cold air nicely... But the air cond compressor was not turning when I tried, garage suggested that the air cond sensor (88645-20050) may not be working. Could this be the issue? Does anyone know where I could source a replacement?

Your opinion of alcantara interior - how much would it cost
Slayer replied to Slayer's topic in Supra Chat
Good point there, I was not thinking about the seats, just the dash panel and maybe door cards... I think that would look odd, especially with the beige leather? -
Hi all, I have a stock UK spec Supra, and just want your opinion on updating the interior to part alcantara. Of course it would not be all panels, that would be a bit too much I think. Has anyone done it, just want to know how it would look. Would this change be bad for the car's value given that it is now 100% stock including the exhaust? You opinion would be much appreciated.
-
The current exhaust system - full stainless steel straight piped, is just too loud for my liking, considering the rest of the car is factory standard. So decided to source the original full factory exhaust system to bring my UK Spec supra back to factory standard. Fortunately found the 1st, 2nd and cat back exhaust from a fellow forum member and have just installed on the car - picking up the car tomorrow. The custom exhaust is therefore for sale. Looking for £250, but please feel free making me any reasonable offer. Given the size, it will need to be picked up from Brentford TW8 in London, or you could organise a courier. I took some pictures with the exhaust on the car, will take some more when I pick up the car tomorrow.

for sale a couple new supras breaking.... tt auto jap and a uk spec
Slayer replied to keron's topic in Parts for Sale
Hi Kieron, I am after the outer rubber seal for the driver side headlight. Do you have it? Thanks -
Thanks very much for all the information guys, this really helps, much appreciated. I understand the drop in power by replacing the custom exhaust with OEM components. As you have correctly pointed out, the custom exhaust is made up of different sections, would I have any issue running the UK spec 1st cat and the UK spec cat back exhaust without the 2nd UK spec cat? Thanks for the advice!
-
Hello all, I have a 1995 UK spec supra, everything is stock except the exhaust. I believe it has a full 3” custom Exhaust, and I have a couple of issues with it. First, it is a bit too loud for my liking and does not suit the car in my opinion given everything else is stock... Secondly, I am having difficulties passing the MOT emission test. Could I have your opinion on what I could do please? Would any Jspec exhaust - 1st cat, 2nd cat and Cat back (including muffler and exhaust pipe) fit the UK spec supra? What about any combination of UK/Jspec exhaust component - for example, would I be able to fit a Jspec 2nd cat to UK spec 1st cat and cat back? Any advice would be most appreciated. Thanks.
-
Anyone got stock exhaust(ok unlikely), or know where I could potentially find one? Have a stock 95 UK spec supra, but the exhaust is too loud for my taste...
-
This is very confusing, just looked around eBay, not sure why are there so many different sizes? Is this because people have replaced the OEM one with after market part? If the car is stock, is it 30mm front and 19mm rear?

Good evening all, I have a 95 UK spec Supra and looking at updating the drop links together with the bushes. I have bought the blue print drop links front and rear, and was recommended to replace the bushes as well, so I am trying to order the power flex bushes, but was asked to choose the size... 24mm 25mm 26mm 27mm 28mm 29mm 30mm 32mm I thought this should be standard, how would I know please? Anyone know the size of the standard size anti roll bars? Or whatever it is I need to measure? Thanks in advance

Hi guys, In terms of value, say compare 2 cars with the exact same spec and colour, how much more do you think a uk spec TT 6 speed is worth compare to the auto? Same question for Jpm import, same premium you think? With Toyota resuming production for the supra parts, it will make it easier to find new parts for the 6 speed gear box you think?
