  1. Have just replaced the stock shocks on my uk spec supra with Bilstein (except one, because the fitting kit was missing), so my mechanic will come back again another time. While he was on the job, he also mentioned that I would need to replace the anti roll drop links, so may as well replace the bushes while I am on this. What else would you recommend changing to bring the car back to the original factory handling and feel, well as close as possible anyway. Cheers.
  2. Hmmm, the other side of London. Isn’t there a specialist on sw of London near Twickenham, maybe Surrey ?
  3. Yeah the front one came with no fitting kit, given that it was new from bilstein, not sure how exactly was that possible. The vendor probably took it out? - - - Updated - - - I will give Darren a call, thanks for the recommendation!
  4. Well, I just need to replace one blistein shock - I bought a set from a company in Netherlands, and was of the from shocks came with no fitting kit. I have already got the other 3 fitted by a mobile mechanic who came to service my other car... took him a while. He also mentioned that I should replace the anti roll drop links, so I am going to have this done as well, the car is 25 years old UK spec supra after all, I would like to know what other suspension components to refresh to try and bring back the factory handling... Or do you think replacing suspension and anti roll drop links can be done at any local garages... a relatively straight forward job. Thank you.
  5. I ordered one from this site... from japan, price seems very very reasonable. Has anyone used this site? https://www.amayama.com/en/part/toyota/0908200760 Also, anyone know the part number for the cruise control stalk which would work with the steering wheel?
  6. Any idea where I can buy the adapter for the airbag?
  7. Bought a 95 UK spec supra recently, first thing to do is to replace the bulky 4 spoke steering wheel. Still want to OEM look, so going to put this one on
  8. Good morning all, I know that this probably has been asked before, I know that it is possible to fit a Celica 3 spoke steering wheel on the Supra. Could anyone confirm if it is a straight forward process, and do I actually need to buy other parts before I could replace the 4 spoke supra steering wheel with the 3 spoke Celica wheel please? Thanks.
  9. I don't really have any issue with the suspension, but he suspension on the car is still stock, so around 25 years old now, and it does show its age on the ride I think, can't remember what the ride was like when I had my supras from 1999 until 2004, but I think they were better (well, cars were much newer). I just thought replacing the shocks (and springs) would surely help? Definitely would give Chris a call tomorrow.
  10. This sounds like a nightmare that I would not want to get into. Thanks for sharing, much appreciated. What is the best alternative to "refresh" the suspension then, without affecting the ride height? I will probably call Chris tomorrow. Thanks S
  11. Hi all, would these fit the UK spec Supra? I would like to retain the stock ride and handling, and preferably no lowering as well. Link here - https://www.demon-tweeks.com/bilstein-b12-pro-kit-with-b6-and-b8-shock-absorbers-bls46-190413/ If not, could someone suggest the closest match to replace the factory shocks and springs? Thanks
  12. Hi all, I have had 2 Supra’s (at different time) when I was in Australia... Having seen the new Zupra, just want to buy another again. Would you say the UK spec is more special ? Also, can anyone recommend a specialist to inspect a supra near Leicester ? Does anyone know this particular car? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F223756411486
  13. Excellent, thanks for the info Shawn, will be signing up for the subscription.
  14. I don’t see any subscription payment option on my profile page... Do I need to send a request to moderator ?
  15. Hi all, Could someone advise how would I reply to classified thread? May be interested in some of the members cars, but I don’t seem to be able to post a reply. Thanks
  16. Hello all, I have just joined the forum recently, but not new to the fantastic mkiv supra. I had 2 mkiv supra over a period of 6 years when I was in Australia, first with a 1996 NA before I bought a 1999 TT, and I still could see the scene when my beloved TT driven away in 2004 when I came over to UK. Well, I have had many more performance cars since then, and supra ownership is still the most Memorable. I was already deeply attracted to the car’s look an performance way before fast and furious, and we already had so many Supra meets back in OZ during my 6 years of ownership, just can’t fault the car, it still looks modern and fresh after all these time (except those vulgar examples that had gone through extensive plastic surgery), it simply looks great in any angle! I am now looking at options to rekindle my passion for the mkiv supra, and I think joining this forum and searching for the right car from fellow enthusiasts must be the best way to find one. Just a quick message to say hi, and hope to see some of your cars in the metal! Cheers Slay
