personally i'd completely forget about idea no 2.. way too much hassle. Just get a decent bath with a shower screen, and plumb your own shower into the wall, and connected to a shower pump.

Weird! everything appears to be back to normal. Had to download CCleaner to clean up the crap stored in cache.. The Delete temp internet files option didnt help.

I seem to be having problems with my browser remembering that i am actually logged onto the mkivsupras.net forum. Another very noticiable problem is that all the avatars and forum pictures are appearing as broken links, however if i open the pics in a new window i can view them?! Weirdly enough I can see attached thumnails and embedded photos that people have added to a post... (ps. cant see smilies either )

Fan belt is a DIY job, fairly easy to do, as to the aircon pump... I would check it you can disconnect the power to the pump, and disengage the clutch on the aircon pump. That way you can avoid paying massive bills replacing the pump itself. Obviously your aircon isnt going to work until you eventually replace the pump, but at least it will get your car back on the road quickly.
