This thread is hilarious on multiple levels. So many people on different agenda's, wavelegths, points of view - all colliding in one place often produces these kind of results. Jake - you are funnier than I gave you credit for - kudos! J

Ok - that's £12.95, not £1295....better go find something else cheaper!
-
And yes, the thats on PY264.
-
I haven't put my CC details in yet, i'm just going by what it says: ZG5411 £ 1295 voucher code XX602 xx602 postage and packing hmmm... How did this loophole on the other products come about?
-
lol CJ. What about on a more expensive item? I've put the £1500 phillips plasma into my basket, checked out and put the code in, and it's indicating its going to take £1300 off! Anyone else...?
-
Is this for real?!
-
That's a bit too accurate for an observation, previous experience faye?

Hey Robert, Thanks man. I don't like the sound of using spacers, I think I might need to rethink my choice of wheel and go for something that's available in 12/13" width. Just out of interest - my knowledge on this is sketchy, so i may well be wrong - but would having a 35mm offset with 15mm spacers be the same as a larger offset? So in an ideal world i'd need a 50mm offset which would negate the need for spacers? Or am I way off?
-
Hey Guys, Just looking at some 19s for my TRD widebody, and am a little confused by the offsets etc. Which size would best suit my bodykit (roughly 1" wider than standard on each corner) and would I have to have spacers? Sizes available for the wheels I want are: Rear Size: 19x10 ET: 28 P.C.D: 114.3 or Size: 19X10 ET: 35 P.C.D: 114.3 Front Size: 19X9 ET: 35 P.C.D: 114.3 or Size: 19x9 ET: 30 P.C.D: 114.3 I'm just not sure whether the biggest width they do will be wide enough - anyone in the know care to comment? Based on the size that suits the car, what tyres can I get away with? Cheers, Jay

If you look up patience in the dictionary, there's gotta be a picture of this right there in the description: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=340814 That's just insanely good, and I want one. I'm going to sulk until I get one.

Sizer: sorry mate, I also meant to say that that is a tidy looking motor. If you had to sell her, how many beer tokens are you after? On the flip side of the female comments on here, my missus has been talking about getting a skyline...
-
Paul, how in god's green earth has that not sold yet?? J
-
Mine came from Newera Imports and I couldn't really fault them. Miguel was very helpful, honest and reliable, and i'll use them again when I buy my Skyline track car...
-
Same as CJ on this - although the better half wakes me up @ 7 as she starts work at 8. I've been trying to get her sacked so she can get a normal job, but so far not much luck. I was almost positive groping her bosses wife would do the trick...

You can get fire/theft only insurance mate. When I sold the car before my Supra, there was a 3 month gap between me selling it and my insurance renewal. I called up and was told i'd lose that years no claims (i was nine months through) unless I transferred my insurance to another car. As the Supra was still in Japan I couldn't use that, so I used a relatives old banger and kept it garaged. I declared it's value at £50, told them it wouldnt/couldnt be driven, would never be claimed for, and I just wanted it insured for the sake of keeping up my no claims. They told me the minimum insurance I could have was fire/theft and cost me a grand total of £58 for the year. So not only did I get my full years no claims (to bring me up to 3) but also got a big rebate on the premium i'd already paid! That aside, £58 for a car worth £50 is bloody rediculous, and a blatant example of how much insurance companies rip us off.

I've been a few times - sometimes it's ok, others not so good. If any of you guys are planning on heading down there, drop me a PM and i'll pop down.
-
Sorry Rosie, I didn't quite catch that last bit, what did you say...?
-
Hey Paul, any chance my enquiry has been resolved yet mate? I have the cash here for the el glo dials, at least two el glo gauges, a pillar pod and chrome dial surround - i'm just waiting on an answer!
-
Dude...man..seriously...you know? No need to feel guilty when you get apology sex then!
-
Thanks Nic, that was my reason for asking. When I had my IC piping come off, the car was dreadfully slow and I felt really sorry for any N/A owners. Listening to N/A owners talk about how *quick* their cars are based on my experience without turbo's was making me scoff a little, but that clears it up, cheers
-
Slightly off topic I guess, and might sound like a silly question, but if you could "switch off" (bypass, unplug, whatever) the Turbo's on a TT, would it be exactly the same as an N/A?
-
Saw you on Shrubbery Lane (i think) in High Wycombe - silver, with aftermarket wheels and some blue writing/graphics on the back. Was visiting a friend of mine from down the road.

Being the designery/computery/geeky kinda bloke that I am, if you'd like a proper MKIV Supra 'skin' doing for the forum, just let me know!
