  1. In aid of helping others with any Air conditioning faults I thought i'd take the time to make a post about the inbuilt diagnostic codes for the air conditioning. How to diagnose air-con not working on a Toyota Supra. Faulty air con? Get the diagnostic codes out of your Supra using the following method. With the ignition switched off, hold down the two larger heater control buttons (Recirc and Auto buttons) , then switch the ignition on. . Any fault codes stored in the system will then flash the LEDs. See below for a link to the website with the fault diagnosis codes: http://www.jack-frost.co.uk/toyota_supra_air_con.html After being unable to find a stickied guide I thought it best to provide a link for others.
  2. Im in North Devon but I intend on getting this project car on the road, so I can travel to get it done somwhere.
  3. So i've got a unique car which I require a custom exhaust to be fabricated to fit. It's a non cat system so would be a manifold back custom. Has anyone got a rough idea of the cost for making up such a custom exhaust? I'm hoping to keep it quite generic but I can give details if required. Any info would be appreciated
  4. Thanks Chris, pushed me exaclty in the right direction. Doesn't seem to be worth swapping bulbs because the current draw would have to be the same, unless I modified the warning module which I don't really want to do with my knowledge set.
  5. I'd deffintly be up for going.
  6. I really don't want to alter the circuit in a permanent way. I was hoping that there would be a component I could change.. In the indicator circuit you just have to change the flasher relay.. And in the similar thought process I was hoping a component in the warning system could be swapped? Also... Why wouldn't the led bulbs have the resistors inside as a self contained unit?
  7. So i've recently changed the rear lights for led bulbs. They all worked correclty before doing so and they all work correctly now...great you might be thinking... well I've also got a rear light failure light on the dash that comes on as soon as you turn the headlights/sidelights on. It also illuminated the brake warning light aswell ((!)) So I took a hint and changed the rear brake light bulbs back to filaments, which sorted the dash lights. My question now is, what do I need to change to prevent the rear bulb warning light illuminating if i want to run led bulbs? Which component could I change to detect a failure in the led light? I'm presuming that it's a simple lowering of resistance in the brake circuit that's throwing the problem, I just don't have enough knowledge of the system to know what I could do to fix it!
  8. Thanks Matt, I've already found and ordered a set of side indicators. I'm after a link for clear pre face-lift front indicators.
  9. Without coming across as a feeble user of Google... I genuinly can't find a set for sale anywhere! Like I mentioned before though... I did find some one eBay but couldn't get them to deliver to the UK If anyone does have a link to somwhere with a pair, It would be very much appreciated.
  10. I can't get them delivered to the UK They are exaclty what I'm after though!
  11. So I have the standard orange side and front indicator lenses on my uk spec but I hate how they look. Can anyone reccomend an oem looking clear indicator lens for the side indicators? Also, is there a clear front indicator for the front that's solely an indicator on each side (no side light)?
  12. Cheers Rob, I'm just a little worried about the noise from it being 4". Have you got any pictures of the exhaust?

    car cover

Would a cover not get blown in the wind and possibly scratch the car?
  14. Gaz and Rob do you both have a rough idea of prices? Pm me if you prefer
  15. Cheers for the heads up Matt. I'll be in contact if nothing turns up, until then.. Anyone got a cat back system gathering dust?
  16. Ideally after blitz nur spec rx or whifbitz twin box system. Just cat back. Potentially a FCD aswell... What have you got?
  17. Don't both have a removable baffle?
  18. Has anyone considered a stick on plate? Much more aerodynamic...
  19. Goodluck, with the budget you should be able to find a good auto.
  20. Teaches me for not looking first!
  21. Im all over the country but would like to know about some of your favourite roads to drive/ride on. I'm usually around: Telford, Leeds and North Devon. so these areas would be of most interest to me personally but I'd love to know about some of the best experiences on roads you'd recommend.
  22. Dug the car out. Here are some better pictures:
  23. I'm just paranoid about damaging the paintwork! The glue is so solid that its quite happy to bring up the paint with it. I'll take my time with it and get it looking right with minimal damage.
  24. Having some real trouble, luckily most of the badge is symmetrical so will hide most of it. It seems to have been stuck on with super glue, the tar remover is slowly breaking it down. Been applying it for an hour at a time to really react with it. Can't wait to have it looking right again!
  25. Competely rust free shell, stripped for strengthening and then respraying. Can't bring myself to break it or scrap it! Just after a good new home.
