  1. Haha, it'll be a big difference from a straight through. Nice and quiet!
  2. Ive seen a few advertised at a grand lower on ebay than on here. The one that i bought was for one.
  3. Fair play, didn't think it would be easy to do! The exhaust is still available aswell.
  4. Stretching to 11.5k at most realistically but thats only for a late 1999 onwards in good condition.
  5. Hi, As the title describes, I am in the market again for another supra since my own 2001 TT is sadly no longer with me. I am looking for something with relatively low miles (preferably under 90k), but depending on spec and condition I am happy to look at higher mileage cars if they are almost immaculate. I'm not too worried about the age (facelift would be nice, but due to the vvti unit being more annoying to tune for big power I'm not too worried if the car is a pre-facelift). Overall I'm looking for a TT supra in good condition (It's a shame as I wasn't in the position to buy the 2 lovely examples that came up for sale a few days ago and sold within a day! However I am now!) Thanks for looking, and thanks for any help. Kind Regards, Alex
  6. Is there a difference between the vvti and the non vvti exhaust as it looks the same as the vvti exhaust I have for sale. I know the 1st cat is different but after that I assumed they were the same?
  7. Oh nice! I didn't see that come up for sale! Looks like a nice one!
  8. Looks like mine, apart from the spoiler. There are a few of us in Gloucestershire:)
  9. Yeah the injectors are a little loud, but that's normal. It just seems to be coming from the wrong side of the engine for that.
  10. Hi all, I'm hoping some of you might be able to help identify if this slight knocking sound is anything really bad, not so bad or normal. I've linked the video below, you can hear it best towards the end of the video (about 25 seconds in). The sound itself is coming from the drivers side of the engine, I can't quite tell if it is from the top of the bottom (I'm leaning towards top) and it sounds like it's coming from between the engine and the turbo's. Any ideas?
  11. As you can see, many many people have done the bpu mods, very very few supras are running stock power. Due to the map on the supra ecu they run rich. They run so rich in fact that you can add far more boost from doing the bpu mods and it will still be running rich. Running lean is one of the worst possible things that could happen, but due to the way the ecu is set up it won't. As long as you maintain it half decently, regular oil changes (as you should be doing anyway) and using high ron fuel such as shell v power you will be fine. Just dont run your turbos past 1.25 bar of boost (you will need a boost gauge). All you have to do is search and see how many people have done these mods, ive never heard of a bpu level supra having any problems.
  12. If Greg (sheefa) changes his mind, I'll take the wing covers. (Greg, you seem to be buying all the parts I want before I have a chance to comment! Do you live on here? )
  13. I'm bpu (without the front mount intercooler at the moment) and it's far far quicker than it was stock, I turned the boost back down to stock levels the other day to remind myself what it was like... No kidding it felt slower than my 170hp e46 Bmw. As for reliability, as I have seen your previous post about reliability concerns, you are very unlikely to have any problems what so ever. The only problem that you may encounter is your right foot getting heavier. If you overboost the ceramic Jdm turbos often then you will obviously blow them up, so keep the boost pressure at under 1.25bar and you're good to go! Let us know the nearest town to where you live (I wouldn't post your actual address) then there may be someone near you with a bpu car to show you the difference. And I can't stress enough how much of a difference it makes!

  15. Yeah sounds like a plan. I'll pm you my number or facebook or something as i don't get notifications if anyone comments on my posts on here. Just let me know if you guys are meeting in Cheltenham on Sunday and I'll meet you there.
  16. Hi James, yeah sounds like a plan! I think there is another Bristol meet on on Sunday as well so I dont know if you guys were planning on going to that?
  17. Fair enough. 2 years is too long! Was there something wrong with it? Or just decided to take it off the road for a bit? Sounds like a plan. I'm in Cheltenham a lot, especially on the weekend nights etc... Is yours a TT or an NA?
