should have walked past with some nitromors in a squirty bottle, the yellow tin nitromors (craftsmens) is runny like water, not jellified like the green tin, it will squirt nicely over paint and it does a MUCH better job than brake fluid. Just a suggestion mind *ahem*

Unless your car is a 1998/9 or newer, you can't have an S prefix.

I've gone with NOD32, it updates every day, sometimes twice a day, and its supposed to be one of the best. I'd never use Norton again, its too big and it slows your machine down something chronic...

The oil seperator (you call it catch can) will only seperate the liquid oil, not the oil vapour, which is what gets suckied into the intake and combusted. This vapour can build up and leak out as liquid, having already passed the seperator.

Get rid of AVG its shit! Try NOD or Kaspersky, if you need to find out where they are, drop me a pm....

Found this thread ressurected, heres the finished pic, and I used high modulus silicone to attach the grille, don't use araldite or chemical metal etc, its too ard and will crack off the bumper... http://www.indidist.co.uk/images/images/ChristianFrench6.jpg

Anyone here got any good stories about antivirus software? I have tested about 5 differnt ones recently and the best I have used so far is NOD32, Kaspersky was pretty good but caused conflicts with Office 2003. I'd like to try SOPHOS but its really expensive, but supposed to be the best, anyone tried it?

You may find that the oil is coming from the engine breather system, which 90% 0f cars have, it vent's the crankcase into the intake manifold, and some of this atomised oil can find its way out, through the BOV hoses, it mixes with the road dust and becomes what looks like oily sawdust.

I didn't think the N/A engines were as strong as the turbo, the turbo having a thicker block, stronger rods etc....

Magnatec is supposed to have magnetic particles in it (which PTFE aren't) , which wouldn't stick to an aluminium piston, or a cast iron con-rod or a cast crank, or cast camshaft...pretty useless really.
