    Speeding!

I have found a website that is quite interesting, apparently I should be privvy to the operating manual of the device that caught me for speeding and the calibration certificate, I am also entitled to see the officer's notebook ( the guy that was operating it) and in that notebook it should note down all his actions prior to operating the unit on drivers, if the opertating manual has not been followed to the letter and this noted down, then the prosecution cannot continue. apparently.
  12. I recall having a tool that did that when I used AOL, kept kicking you off line, was excellent!

    Speeding!

I have been done for speeding ( had the section 172 letter through ) but we're not sure who was driving the car at the time so it may be difficult, may have been me or my girl. The real bastard about it is that it was on the A2 in the supposed roadworks, the 50 limit was still up but there was no roadworks to be seen, they have finished on that stretch of road and all the cones etc have been removed several days previous to my offense, so the only reason I can see for a police camera van being there is to raise revenue, as there was no other reason for it to be there, and it was on the other side of the goddamn road too... Penny pinching bastards!
  14. This is the 1st time on here for ages, and my god has it changed!!
  15. In your case, as you had a witness who was going to stick up for you, you should have grabbbed the bloke who hit you's keys and kept them so he couldn't drive off, and if he'd given you any shit, just punch him, or if you're not too good with your fists, kick him in the balls, he fuckin deserves it, just remember that!
  16. With a 480BHP NA it'll be so fookin quik you wont be seeing much of the front...

  18. This weeks Auto Express (delivered today) has spy shots of the new Supra in heavy disguise on a racing track. pics are a bit shite, my scanner is broken so I took a picture with my camera http://img57.exs.cx/img57/3915/newsupra2006.jpg
  19. I see. Well I tapped into the wiring loom under the passenger footplate, and the LED's (12v) illuminated when the VSV's were actuated. Although this isn't indicative if there is any vacuum or pressure behind them. I watched the LED's whilst driving (not too easy) anf the prespool VSV's seem to be actuated all the time, the wastegae one comes on in neutral or when you cane it and the exhause one, I can't remember! Ask HALO-INC, he has my car now and he may still have my box o tricks in it
  20. Sorry Ian, i don't quite understand, what is it you would like?
  21. Yes mate, i got it installed and working but I wasn't too impressed with the result, the LED's only came on to show that the VSV was actuated, not if there was any vacuum present, so all I really got was 4 pretty lights that went on and off. The only good 1 was the wastegate LED, that flickered like crazy when I gave the car some stick, I suppose the flickering was the car's attempt at bleeding off some boost.
  22. I thought of a way I might try to hide a plate, that being, hinge the plate at the bottom, and have magnetic catches at the top, behind the plate have a solenoid passing through the bumper and whe the solenoid is actuated, it pushes the plate off the catches and it swings down so it can't be photographed, to put it back up, simply stop, and push it back into postion.
