  1. Is this anybody's car on here? Saw it doing the rounds on facebook, apparently the driver is alright.
  2. Ah yes, because sorting something out over the platform where it was originally posted truly is lacking manliness.
  3. Looks like they've taken the post down now.
  4. Does seem like he's trying to poke fun at the car, whilst using it for publicity. Zero respect for customers.
  5. Tsia

    real or fake?

On a scale of 1 to fired, how safe for work is this?
  6. I was about to buy a Wileyfox as three of my friends have them, all of which have had to send them back for LED and button failures multiple times they looked brilliant for the money, but the quality control wasn't up to scratch. Nice looking phones, great spec and unusual, but I couldn't be doing with sending my phone away for any length of time
  7. Second this - got my 6p about two months ago and the battery life has been fantastic, camera has been more than suitable for holiday snaps as well, big screen, good sound, the lot. The only negative I'd say is that it's very slippy and I've not come across a case I'm particularly keen on yet. Oh and USB-C charge times are brilliant too, an hour or two will bring the phone up to full or nearly full from empty. Check out some reviews of them online, it's not a common phone that you see all over the place (and I'm not sure why) but many places hailed it as the best Android phone when it was reviewed a few months ago.
  8. Welcome to the forum Matt here with the Anthracite single in MK
  9. Can't reply, your inbox is full But yes, that's fine. If you clear it out and let me know, I'll PM you the details
  10. Bump, happy to split these up now.
  11. Bump! Perfect if you want to get a set polished up whilst still driving the car
  12. I'm going to be trying out a HTC Vive next weekend as my friend has recently bought one. I can only imagine how amazing that will be with the steering wheel and pedals setup.
  13. Haven't heard of that before, might have to take a look in to it
  14. That last one looks awesome.
  15. Yes! I got this set up with a Logitech G27 whilst my Supra was away so I could pretend to drive some fast cars It's a poor picture, but here's the setup I use for it: I'd like to add a proper racing seat setup one day, but I've got better things to spend money on at the moment Time to get it updated to try the Supra I think
  16. Yup Upon further inspection, now the engine has cooled down and I could get a bit closer to the wastegates, I'm hearing a hissing of air for 20-30s after the engine is turned off, as if they've been pressurised and slowly bleeding the pressure out. This may be the cause of my lack of boost!
  17. First things first is finding out what plugs I'm running and checking the gapping I think, might be something as simple as this according to the dyno guy. (fingers crossed!)
  18. The ECU (Link G4+) is controlling boost. As you can probably tell, I'm not fully up to speed on how maps work
  19. I have no idea how it does the ignition, and I'll need to find out what the plugs are, it's been too long since I got the part list together 0.6 bar is the wastegate pressure - it just looks like the controller isn't kicking in, as the ECU is set to a 1.2 bar limit. I am getting an odd hissing sound as if air is escaping from the wastegates for about 20 seconds after the engine is switched off, so i'm waiting for it to cool down to make sure a hose hasn't popped off or something. The whole thing was mapped at 1.2 bar, so it'll be fuelling accordingly... only it's only getting 0.6. Oddly, I had run the ECU logging software which had shown a stable 1.2, but now I'm thinking it might just be showing target pressure or something? Really unsure at this point, and I'm not familiar enough with the software to be able to tell.
  20. Took the car to Marlins to get it dyno'd - thankfully it's not looking like a major issue. My boost is peaking at 0.6 bar (wastegate pressure) and misfiring a bit at high RPMs (they think it's the spark being blown out). Still made a comfortable 388bhp, which is somewhat reassuring considering the lack of boost. AFRs are very rich, but that's to be expected when the car isn't getting as much boost as it thinks it should be getting. Will have a chat to the mapper about taking a look at this and get the plugs checked in the week
  21. Afraid I haven't got the gasket still - but I do have the manifold and full turbo setup (I can't get it apart though) - so let me know if you need any measurements, although as it's something that needs to be mm precise, it maybe worth trying to get hold of one? If I could split them easily enough I'd gladly post you the manifold, but I'm trying to get rid of it all in one go.
