  1. Tried jump starting it, no luck there either so it seems it's not the battery. My mate said there was a really strong smell of petrol whenever I cranked it, but either I've lost my sense of smell or he just had his face too close to the exhaust for comfort. Rather than risk rounding off the ancient bolts holding the coil packs in, I'll get it towed to the local garage
  2. I'd hazard a guess at during the engine rebuild (within the last year) - but can't say for certain. I'll fire the engine builder a text and ask
  3. Hi all, I've had the car sat for 2 months or so whilst deciding what to do with it. Took the battery out last night to charge it overnight, popped it back in this morning. I turned the key, started up perfectly. Rather than leaving it idling whilst I put the socket set away and moved the daily out of the way, I turned it off. I then went back to the car, started it up again, only for it to sound a bit 'weak' as if it was struggling to stay on. I tried giving it a few revs (only to 1800-2000 or so) only for it to cut out - and now it won't start at all! It cranks and I can hear it almost start from time to time, but for the most part it's just cranking. I've got a Link ECU, so plugged in my laptop to see if anything was up with it, but I'm getting no error values whatsoever, so I'm assuming it's just from being sat in the cold for so long. Does anybody have any ideas? Cheers

    UK Turbo Suppliers

Dealt with both Owen Developments and BTN. Both were good, but Owen felt like they went the extra mile, very knowledgeable guys.
  5. Going to be trying the demo of it later tonight. Valkyrie has me hooked for the time being, as long as Sony can sort out the few issues people are having.
  6. Played it for a fair few hours yesterday, the demos etc, but mostly Eve Valkyrie. Really, really fun. However... I'm one of many people experiencing tracking 'drift'. Slowly but surely your 'centre view' moves to the left and you have to reset it. It's quite easy (you just hold Options for a few seconds) but it really pulls you out of immersion hoping for a fix from Sony ASAP - otherwise I won't be keeping it going forwards.
  7. Bump. This one won't explode like the new ones!
  8. Apologies - I completely forgot I had this thread open! Yeah go on then - we can do £75 delivered
  9. Got mine pre-ordered as a nice birthday surprise earlier this year. Picked up Eve Valkyrie first, but really keen to get Driveclub VR
  10. Haha - certainly have! Three guesses what I'd like to go back to
  11. That sounds about fair - thanks. As I've said above bit of an opportunity has reared its head regarding the map, so I'll investigate that avenue first of all before making a decision.
  12. Bit of an opportunity has come up, so it may be worth me keeping it yet. Still, would be useful to know its worth!
  13. Clueless to be honest. I've seen so many threads recently for single supras that it's really hard to gauge a price for it in it's current condition. If the 'judged' amount is too low for comfort, i'd probably store it up for a while and just come back to it in a few months/years - even though that's not the most sensible option. Just trying to weigh up the decision really
  14. No need to take the p*ss Genuine 1A1, original engine and auto gearbox.
  15. No can do I'm afraid. If I'm selling, I'm selling as-is. Just trying to find a guide price - though I'm aware it'll be much less than it would be mapped.
  16. Cheers, mostly this thread is to gauge what I want to do with it, but its been in a non driveable state for too much of its life. On one hand, it's 'nearly' there - but on the other, I have to draw a line somewhere and say enough is enough.
  17. Honestly can't afford the time nor cash to get the map done. It was road mapped originally, but it hasn't held up very well. Wasn't mapped by a trader on here so I won't name names. The complete and utter destruction of my bank account is why I'm finally throwing the towel in
  18. Hi all, No longer interested in owning a Supra so wanted to gauge how much it's worth. Engine Spec: Engine recently rebuilt with 86.5mm pistons (MK Autos, Blackburn - reputable engine builder) Head rebuilt at same time Borg Warner S362 turbo Whifbitz twin wastegate manifold Twin 40mm Turbosmart wastegates (with screamer pipes) Turbosmart BOV Mishimoto intercooler with custom pipework Mishimoto rad SARD 720cc Injectors Link G4 Storm ECU (Needs remap - explained below) A340E Automatic box with twin coolers UK brakes Bad points: Car needs a remap. Doesn't idle very well and runs very rich according to the guys at my local dyno. Sideskirt (passenger side) is cracked Rota GTR wheels could do with a refurb Paint was bubbling around windscreen so this has been sanded back and smoothed, but needs painting. (caused by a chip back to bare paintwork when the windscreen was replaced quite some time ago. All rust has been removed) Interior carpet is a bit tatty Front bumper is pretty stonechipped Few of the usual 'tesco dents' in the doors
  19. I've got that same box at my home with FTTP - my phone plugs directly in to the box and my remaining sockets do not work either
