1. Trouble is I need to have mine removed for a repair rather than simply to replace the windscreen.
2. Ideal - thanks for that
3. Hi guys, Anybody got a rough idea on pricing for a new windscreen? Got to have mine taken out next year as rust has started to eat at the bodywork around the screen I assume Autoglass probably have stock? Cheers
4. +1 for Destiny here, good mechanics, fun FPS. if you liked Halo, you'll probably like Destiny as well, still loads of content to go for me before I can even consider the latest expansion.
5. I did that last weekend (car insurance this month, means I'm eating baked beans and turning the lights off at 8!) so that I didn't spend money going out instead. It's exactly how I imagined my adult life when I was 13.
6. For sale is my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with Cyanogenmod OS installed (Android Marshmallow) which is currently locked to the EE network. It's in generally good condition with a small scratch on the Home button and some light damage to the silver 'edge' of the device - all of which is visible in the pictures: Comes with the original USB 3 cable (heavily used!) but no wall adaptor £125 delivered
7. Hi guys, Up for sale is my 'spare' intake manifold. I used this as a practice run to see if I'd like the matte black look before painting my actual intake manifold - I did! Anyway, pictures: And what it actually looks like with a throttle body painted the same colour (Not an ideal pic, but you get the idea): It's done in VHT paint, so shouldn't come off once things get hot either. £75 delivered
8. Yeah that's not far from me at all
9. These turbos were taken off the car last year when engine contamination killed them (along with the rest of my engine) - I've since decided not to rebuild them and gone single. Not being much of a mechanic myself, I'd assume both turbos would need rebuilding for peace of mind, but only turbo 1 is actually damaged. The first turbo is shagged: Second turbo looks alright, no forwards/backwards play and only a few mm side to side (doesn't touch the housing at all): Basically, I'm selling everything pictured here (except the book and the towel ): Unsurprisingly these are collection only from MK10 - no, I cannot take small parts off them to post out to you, no, I cannot deliver them to you £50 collected
10. £85 delivered
11. Afternoon all, I'm trying to pop my injectors out to get them tested & cleaned as they seem to be sticking. They're SARDs, but fitted on the standard rail. How on earth do you get the throttle body off?! I've located the two bolts underneath it, but they're nigh-on impossible to get to, let alone undo to remove the TB from the manifold. So, I have two questions! 1. Is it possible to somehow remove the injectors/fuel rail without taking the intake manifold off 2. If not, has anybody got a rough guide on removing the TB and intake manifold? Ta
12. For sale is my nearly new Ribble Gran Fondo carbon road bike. I'm 5"6 and it fit me perfectly once I had fitted a shorter stem. This size should suit riders up to 5"8 depending on reach. Feel free to contact me if you'd like sizing advice - I'm not in a rush to sell it. The description from Ribble's website is: Gran Fondos or CycloSportives as they are known in France and England first started in Italy. This is our take on the frame perfectly suited for such events, a carbon monocoque frameset developed with the assistance of Dedacciai of Italy and bearing the famous Italian name. The addition of a slightly taller head tube compared to more race oritentated frames and improved tube shaping helps provide better handling, additional comfort and increased torsional stiffness, making the Gran Fondo perfectly suited for longer rides. This is a frame that will quite happily go along at a steady pace, but when you want to ride a little harder, will be stiff enough to transfer power through the pedals for you. Classic Italian styling and fully internal cable routing complete the looks of this beautiful looking bicycle. Full carbon fibre frame and fork All cables internally routed English threaded bottom bracket 1 1/8th steerer tube Classic Italian styling Clearance for 25mm tyres It's specced with Shimano Sora (9 speed) throughout with a 50/34 chainset and Shimano RS11 wheels. I'm a former bike mechanic, so the bike has been kept to a very high standard. It's not covered much distance in it's lifetime - around 500 miles or so, which is why I'm selling it. I've had it about two years now but simply not found time to go out and ride it. Please feel free to get in contact if you have any questions. Shimano R540 pedals are included. I'm located in Milton Keynes and can set the bike up on a turbo trainer at home for you to try out - please contact me if you'd like to try the bike. Looking for £600
13. I should now be free on Thursday (work commitments cancelled) PM'd.
14. You likely won't find any deals at that price because BMW probably have none of these particular vehicles left. Typically they'll have a bunch of cars that are 'eligible' for this sort of discount (with high specs and low prices) to keep their registration count nice and high, usually 5-600 vehicles a month I'd imagine. From a little industry knowledge, BMW had to pump out a load of these and demo cars late last year and early this year to keep their numbers nice and high. Just wait until we're approaching September, similar sort of deals will probably come up - especially through brokers like this.
15. I think there was a pinch of sarcasm, as it looked to be on a residential road
16. I'm afraid that's a negative on the reg plate from Facebook.
17. If I pass Wolverton on my travels tomorrow I'll pause there for a little look
18. Afraid not, it was a series of comments on a friend's post which I don't think are public. All the information about the crash that was on the post I've relayed here. If I hear anything, I'll post it up here. E: I've popped up a message asking for the reg plate if the guy knows it.
19. Quote on FB says "He hit the roundabout, cleared the tree and the road and rolled it." Wolverton doesn't have a great deal of roundabouts, so I'm trying to use Google Maps to check the area out Edit: got it. The flats in the background are clearly a new development and match the ones in this 'area'. This is most likely the roundabout where he lost it. https://goo.gl/maps/3DFmHWvUR122
20. Not going to be difficult to remove
21. No idea, looks like residential roads though :/
