  2. Michael are you still going? Are you running your car? Paul

  4. Not before Elvington on sunday I'm fitting the boost controller on saturday for sundays drag strip at Elvington.....watch it pack up! That would be just my luck! When the battery went dead we jumped it and it worked so it should be fine eh? Paul
  5. You'll just have to not look cool by remote starting your car when it's cold lol
  6. After putting my car back together we tried all the lights etc and the drivers front indicator worked fine, then we tried the passenger and the whole lot went off, i then checked the connection and it had come loose. After i fixed that the problem still happened, no indicators whatsoever. I have checked all the fuses in the fuse box in the engine bay but there all fine, and my dad did a test on them all. Anyone got any idea's? Where abouts is the fuse for the indicators? The hazards worked but then they went off also, so no hazard warning lights and no indicators. Can anyone help? Thanks, Paul
  7. When Aron (AJI) let his battery go dead, he then took off the battery which made the immobiliser kick in, and also it stopped his cd player etc from working, is that because it went flat then was taken off the car? When my battery went flat, we jumped it and now the alarm doesn't work and the security light stays on! mmmmmm
  8. Cheers guys but this still hasn’t answered my question. Surely there’s been some people with UK cars that have done this…..
  9. 1. Rob Oldham 2. Attilauk 3. Oxygene 4. HISUPE (if I can go in my GTR pretty please ) 5. Ian C if my car is intact and can we have a rough date please? 6. Hogmaw 7. John K 8. ChrisB 9. Paul Laing
  10. Hi, I’m going to be fitting my Blitz boost controller this weekend, it states that you should disconnect the battery. Thing is I don’t really want to do this as it might make the immobiliser kick in….I have a UK spec. The battery was drained the other week as we left the key in for hours while we worked on the car only for the alarm not to work after we jump started it. Will it totally knack up if I disconnect the battery? AJI had a problem with the battery going flat, but he removed the battery when it was dead but his immobiliser kicked in, would mine be ok? Or not? Help me please before the weekend, Paul
  11. Best get running now then mate
  12. This sunday guys, who's going? 1. Paul Laing (with added slicks )
  13. Heckler, or anyone who might know this. I have a flashing light where the Active Spoiler button is, how can i get rid of this without getting behind the radio to the fuse. Can i short the wires that connected to it? Or put something in there like a clip, someone mentioned that??? Will that take off the warning light aswell? Paul
  14. Aron, Hybrids aound good but some people say there not much better than stock, why not go FMIC and run 1.3 bar like i will be soon
  15. Well it's on, was a right pain to take the bumper off (2 hours!!) which actually is quite good as many people say it takes longer than that..... Anyway i just need to finish putting the undertray on tomorrow night as where sick at the moment and knackered lol Also the PS needs bled, as when the caps off the fluid is very think theres no PS, just a horrible noise but that should get sorted tomorrow
  16. Perhaps it's a mileage thing Dude, whats the mileage been on them? Also are they all Jap specs or UK aswell?
  17. Yeah i'm going to take pics as i do it, shouldn't be that bad really, my dads going to lend a hand with the electrics side of things as thats what he does. So i'll hopefully be posting pics up here tomorrow
  18. Not meaning from you, just if you pop round you'll probably find me cursing at the car, or i might still be trying to get the bumper off LOL Pop down if you want to, sunday afternoon

    Rain!!

Alot of new cars run 19s, the Audi RS6, some new Porsche's have them etc and they all have over 400bhp so the Supra is no different. I bought these wheels, then sold them with my old car but then bought them back because i love them and think they look great on the Supra. I had a chance to walk away and buy 18s but chose not to, that must tell you that 19s are fine if you have the right size, offset etc. As for RLTC, i wouldn't mind a go in a Supra with it, but as i said if you push your car to the extreme where it's looking as if your going to loose it then whatever TC you have makes no difference as your away anyway. Just my opinion of course, if you want to go 5mph faster in the rain then by all means RLTC sounds great, but i bet seriously nobodys noticed anything different from the stock TC in the wet. Bye for now Paul

    Rain!!

Thats fair enough, if everyone had the same opinions it would be a boring world...... But if i'd spent £600+ on RLTC i'd never slate it

    Rain!!

And i bet the people who told you this are the ones selling you it, and people who have bought RLTC.....? This is like any other thread, some say the stock 17s are best for the Supra (10 year design), and that new wider 19s ruin the Supra, yet you rubbish the (Toyota) TC and say RLTC is better, mmmm right! So basically when it suits people Toyota did things best is that right? Not very consistent...... Syed, cheers for the info. I'll have to experience it for myself, it's just if your going that mad for the TC to kick in round a corner, you have probably lost it anyway! Paul

    Rain!!

Like so many people on here seem to say, Toyota designed the stock TC for the Supra so why change it? Or does that not apply to everything? Just wheels sizes etc? LOL
  23. Paul Laing

    Rain!!

So is RLTC anything like stock TC, that cuts the power to the wheels so much it's terrible!!! Also some people on here have crashed with RLTC, so it doesn't help everyone it seems. Paul
