Actually Syed your right, the Supra can be a right animal at times

    Rain!!

Your missing the point though, you don't need TC, only in the wet and the stock UK TC does a fine job in the wet. In the dry you don't need it, and if you read back through the thread you'll see that H1Supe and another person crashed there's with RLTC installed, answer me how if it makes the car so safe? Everyone with RLTC is going to defend it as they have forked out loads of money for it The Supra isn't that much of an animal, it's a quick car but in the dry controlling one surely can't be that hard can it? I drive mine hard and if the back end starts to slip take your foot off the pedal, it will get back under control fairly easy. Also if you watch Top Gear, they allways knock the traction off while testing cars, why is this? Paul
  3. Laugh, i might be demented when you come round Gaz Pop round though, see me break my beloved Supra

I just drive my car to work and back, and take it out for blasts on the weekend. I'm not a race driver, and i don't take my car to the track so IMO RLTC isn't for me. But if other people like it then thats fine
  5. This should be fun on Sunday, come and lend a hand Gaz if you want? lol Gaz - Ask Kev if he's passing my way on Sunday, he's an expert at taking off the front bumper

Terminator, i'm sure it is good in the wet, all i'm saying is the Supra isn't really designed for high speeds in the wet, and in the dry theres no need for traction control at all, if you want RLTC then fair enough, it's just not for me. It's expensive and i only drive my car really fast in the dry so i have no need to buy it. I'm not saying you havn't got experience, but are you saying young drivers arn't as good? Most race drivers are young so i don't think thats the case, if anything reactions get slower.....he runs

Erm, traction on when it's wet and traction off when it's dry....... Paul
  8. Does the active spoiler motor need to come off Chris? Then just bolt the spoiler in place?

Not if you’re a good driver, you shouldn’t buy a Supra if you need RLTC to keep the car on the road….. 400bhp+ is never going to be a fast car in the wet, you just need to drive sensibly when it’s wet and leave the stock traction control on. £600 for RLTC plus fitting, just seems a lot of money that’s all. Paul
  10. Cheers Chris, gonna fit it this sunday
  11. Anyone know about the active spoiler? Do you have to do anything to stop the light from coming on?
  12. I havn't got that much in, is that why it sprays out because theres too much in?
  13. When i last did that the fluid shot all over the place!!!!

Knock the stock traction off, and be carefull......i don't drive 2mph in the rain, i have no traction control and love it, tame that back end!!! With my 19s on my cars fine in the wet, likes to give a little wiggle now and then but fine You just need to know how she handles
  15. Yep if you have a spare wheel it has to have legal tread, but if you take the wheel out thats perfectly legal. Paul
  16. Cheers Mcanny, Heckler Heckler - How do you bleed the PS system? Mine makes some strange noises at start up and i have recently changed my ps tank to a chromed one so really it should need bleeding now. So will do this when i change the intercooler. Any help on how to do this would be great
  17. This weekend i'm going to be fitting my HKS FMIC, has anyone got any tips on how to take off the front bumper? Some people say 3 hours (bodyshop) and some say a hour or so. How long has it took you guys in the past. How many bolts is there and where abouts are they all? Any good guides? Also do you have to do anything else, i'm wanting to keep my active spoiler down permanently instead of taking it off. Do i have to disconnect anything to stop the light from flashing or anything else i might miss? Cheers, Paul
  18. True, but theres not many Exotic cars like Fararri's up Newcatle so Bpu is more than enough
  19. £400, is that from America to here? Oh i like Group buy? lol
  20. IMO cost is also a big thing, a single turbo conversion will cost less than say a set of HKS twins, also theres loads more single turbo kits than there is twins, so you can pick the kit for you. I was allways told they create lots of lag, but have seen many in magazines running over 900bhp. you can't beat a quick spooling big single, but Bpu will be enough for me, they beat most things apart from the exotic. Paul
  21. Cheers Jake, finally rang toyota today and got a very big shock when they told me the price for 4 of these.......... £103 inc VAT for all 4, eh, ya what!!!!!!! For 4 bits of rubber? Jesus, Paul
  22. Would look very funny but the 19s will be off as soon as i get to Elvington So there will be 17s front and back but slicks on the rear 17s. the 19s are just to get me there legally

If your back end steps out with any traction on you have less control of the car as it cuts some of the power from the back wheels to stop them spinning. I'd prefer to correct it myself Paul
  24. Funny???? Might just run with the stock tyres on like, not sure if i can be arsed to change them.... Boost controller, suspension and intercooler will all be done in time
