Bobbeh, it seems that way for some reason, maybe i upset people because i say what i feel? I don't know. Thanks for your comments Rob, posative comments or negative ones are fine, but it's when people are arsey and slag off your car, thats not on! Paul
-
Bought the car last October, 59k miles so i've put 6k on the clock. The cars in perfect condition, and the work that has been done on the car is fine! Paul
-
Mate, i havn't asked anyone for a fight, i'd just prefer to chat in person to certain people, people who act like right, anyway! Theres nothing wrong with my car at all, and you can even come up here and inspect my car if you wish! Everything i have done on this car i have done with my dad, and he knows a hell of a lot about cars mate, so don't even start with that! Theres nothing wrong with the car one bit, when people say there is do you want me to just sit and take it? would you? I don't think so, this place has changed.........
-
Keith i'm happy you found the Supras you did, well done! But if you look through many posts on here you'll see that loads of people say they can't find 6 speed UK specs, so maybe your just lucky in finding 2 at that price? Why do you all have to get into a slagging match? Why can't you just give a quick answer and thats it, if you don't agree don't reply! Simple really, and to answer your question, the car hadn't been washed, had driven down to York and the car was basically filthy! Next time i'll have to wash it as you don't know who could be looking

Ian - you havn't got a clue about my car, the brakes are fine, all changed and working perfect thank you, the wheels don't rattle one bit! Neither does the steering wheel, the car wasn't dropped but was pierced by the mechanics by mistake at TOYOTA, repaired by highly skilled mechanics and for free, everything was free from them. I don't drive my car fast everywhere, do you follow me you idiot? I've oviously rattled you, i saw you and your car at TOTB and it not only run bad, but it looked terrible! Sorry but if you want to start a personal thing thats fine by me! It looked horrible, and the times, well need a saw anymore? I actually thought the actuator you were selling was way overpriced and Matt has the same problem with his, or did before he went single. His rattled just like mine, yes one of your chums had the same problem. Speaking to Chris wilson he says it won't make any difference to the car. Anything else you'd like to add, i think saying what you have on a forum is pathetic and i can't believe the mods have let it stay, unless there all together??? Next meetup Ian please come say hello it would be great to speak to you in person!
-
Keith, you just got lucky and spotted cheap ones, how hard are 6 speeds to fine...... What made mine not perfect condition in your eyes? Theres no marks on the outside at all, the wheels are perfect condition also, no marks on the inside either, so how do you think this? I know where not best mates on here but it seems like your making things up now, everyone who's seen the car will tell you theres not a mark on it.
-
Exactly, it depends on which idiot would sell one for that price! Maybe people look in Parkers and go by that? Paul
-
Ian, i might have asked that question, really meaning which ones which, number 1 and number 2.....but if thats the only thing you have to say, why bother? Run a better time at the track will you! 13 seconds!!! mmmmmm
-
11k for a UK 6 speed, are you for real? They go for way more than that mate, unless there a bit knackered! Thats how much J-Specs go for!!!!!! haha thats the funniest thing i've heard all day. Did you see mine at Elvington, you probably think it's in bad shape aswell eh? Hi Peter, apparently if you have a single turbo conversion, you won't go through the emissions, so you need to fiddle that! Paul

I’ve had many modified cars, one was a Saxo which was magazine featured a few times, so I know about only appealing to a certain market, another thing which I always do, modify my car so it looks good and then sell it! So this time I’m determined to keep a hold of this! I love the way it looks, and this time I have the power to match the looks. Cheers for the views guys, all taken on board! Think a nice small single will be next, where I can run the car from the stock ECU, use the 550injectors and my HKS FMIC, but just bolt on a small quick spooling single. That sounds best. Paul

I think TBH a lot of us on here have spent lots of money on our cars, some more than others! A lot of people don’t want to sell because of this, me being one of them but I just thought if someone waved £16k in your face, it would be hard to ignore… I suppose you have to look at how long you will keep your Supra for, the people who put single turbo’s on will have an even more smaller amount of potential buyers, as most of the market and people not in the know will wonder why it hasn’t got twin turbo’s. And the fact they don’t go through emissions….My decision to keep onto mine came when I thought what else could I have that would match the supra for the price…..err nothing! The potential for 1000bhp is there if the money was, so nothing apart from maybe a R34 can compete! Think I’ll keep mine for now and go single eventually.

65k, FTSH, 1 owner from new before me and on the log book, £6-£7k worth of mods, bought the car for £13k, so thats about £19-20k in total, worth £16,000 me thinks! Unless someone would prefer to spend more and do it themselves?
-
Chris - matured with age like a fine whisky lol
-
I would, ChrisB beat your time before the cough cough clutch went! What does that say? I got 13.2 on a hot day running less boost than you, and your time was only 12.97! Not much in it eh?
-
Yours is nice Mcanny, but how many miles has it got? You don't see many 6 speeds for that price, mine has 65k miles, 1 previous owner as Gaz only had it a month! They allways go for a few grand more than the Auto's, then if someone wants one like mine, £16k is easilly possible!
-
Rob Mochs Supra has been sold, Kopite bought it!!!
-
LOL Cheers Mcanny but she's not for sale, not at any price! TBH The mods i have done all can be taken off, thats why i only did bolt on cosmetic mods, the skirts can come off and the stock ones put back on, and the stock spoiler too. And i also have my 17s, the boost controller can come off, etc etc so it could look totally stock if i wanted it to. 6 speeds go for more than Auto's and i'm sure most 'decent' UK specs go for £14-£15k and thats the Auto's!!! Nahh, i couldn't sell it. NEVER!
-
The cars not for sale and never will be, I have BIG plans for this car engine wise!!! TBH I knew I’d get replys like this, so that’s fine. The figures will be correct, Bpu supras running 1.3 or 1.4 bar make 500bhp at the flywheel and around 420rwhp, proven by many cars in the UK and US, not the jap cars as there crap! But the UK and US cars lol Read and you shall see and about the ¼ mile times, I believe with my 17s on and the slicks I can achieve 12.5 which is mid 12s am I correct? I ran 13.2 with just under 1.1 bar, no single turbo and it was near some of the cars at TOTB3… Paul
-
Really, theres been loads of cars on here for that price, Rob Moch's is around £15k i believe, and Darrell Paynes is £16k, both have nowhere near as many mods as mine........ And are they both 6 speeds? Paul
-
£12k, hahahahahahahaha i love this forum Replys from everyone who doesn't actually own a UK 6 speed!
-
Why bother when theres a few certain people on here - pathetic!!!
-
The good thing about a manual is that you select the gear you want, the semi auto cars are probably fine, and auto's for that matter but in an auto that chooses the best gear for you, which can be wrong sometimes..... All great cars though where the Supra is concerned
-
Thats shocking! £250 voucher for a turbo, they should give that prize to the slowest car on the day, they need it more than the winners!!! Who oviously have good enough turbo's to start with......mmmmmm Paul
