  1. Sorry mate only just seen this. But it would be great to see you at our monthly meet. Good grub, good chat, good supras
  2. Dobermans wouldn't work. They only look the part. Ours shake the front gate of our farm and some delivery men won't enter. But if they did they would be licked to death. There super soft loving dogs. You could double fence the area like the old Berlin Wall and stick some geese in there. They can be mean critters. But for me I think we should try to get the French government to sack all the ferry men. Farmers. Yep farmers. Police. truck drivers and any other French government employees and replace them with the immigrants. Maybe we could all drive across France each year without a problem. I have worked in France. Love the country. Love the French. Just wished they lived somewhere else. Maybe Africa.
  3. Ha. We were there at the start of the day. Thought you'd just brought the missus for afternoon tea.

    Totb

No prob mate. Sounded great. That GTR was mad. But what was great about the day was to see so many people racing very fast cars on a budget. Wish I was younger. I'd build track car.
  5. Nice visit to totb at Elvington. No rain till 1.30 but a lot of action before then. Nice to meet members from the Yorkshire and North East groups. Massive turnout of cars racing some doing 9 second runs. Nice to see some well known faces competing or working on their cars. Jurgen had a few cars there that were mad. 1400hp GTR amongst them. Ryan from 2bar tuning doing his thing on the laptop. It is an event that most people could enjoy as a spectator or having a go. We will go again next year if I'm free.
  6. Oops......sorry about that. There was little enthusiasm for this date before I decided to go on a different event. Especially once it was chopped down to just a drive to the pancake house. People pull out of meetings every month or just don't show after saying they were coming even when a table is booked but hey that's life. Perhaps a date later in the year would have more interest if someone suggests it or not. Have a safe drive if you go.
  7. Hi Christian. Me and rick and some others from down here are going up to ten of the best. South of York. Some going from Yorkshire group some from North East group. Believe they have a supra stand so we are going them. Dry in morning but could get wet in afternoon. Should be ok for racing in morning but who knows in afternoon. If you fancy a run come up. Lots going on. All kinds of cars plus drag racers. Elvington air field. Cheers ray
  8. Me and r2ck_p are coming up tomorrow. Will make our way to wherever the supra stand is. Will bring our brollies
  9. Why not come up to ten of the best on Sunday. It will be a good day in wet or dry. Lots going on.
  10. We are going on the sunday
  11. We will keep our eyes out for you. Karl. Storm blue UK model. Possible the best colour. My first supra in 1999.
  12. 2 supras coming up to this event on the Sunday if anyone from Yorkshire there. Will look out for other supras. Cheers ray
  13. Definitely not going on this pancake run. Going to "ten of the best" http://www.straightliners-events.co.uk/
  14. Rick won't be going on the pancake run as he is going to "ten of the best". It is really good I took my blue supra there years ago when I was a member the first time. There was a good turn out of supras from the club. Many on the strip racing. An old member Leon green had a 750 hp supra that went like shit. Although he did get tranced by rocket Ronnie in a super fast 850 hp skyline. He pulled over 200 in the 1/4. Great to see cars like a golf with 2 x V6 engines. Might go up there with him and see how much quicker his bpu is. Don't put my name down as I may end up in the tractor. Have a good time. Don't kill yourselves or anyone else. If you don't get a good turn out you could change to ten of the best and do pancake later in the year.
  15. Farming weather forecast is variable till August. Just enough time to paint my car black and get some blue lights underneath. We could do some lorries.
  16. Looking good. Weather is still crap. Rick hoping to come but not sure yet.
  17. That was a good bit. Makes more like a drive there and back. Would have been nice for an hour stop at Conway castle.
  18. Not put my name down as still not done our harvest and therefore may not make it. if I can come I definitely will do. Just don't want to inflate the numbers that encourages others to put their name down and pull out. Weather report is still iffy for July so fingers crossed. I'll mention it to rick as he is so busy that he doesn't get much time to look at website. That or he is really a Honda freak. Putu name on if your ok with my position.
  19. Ian are you having the pancake run In July. If you are shall I leave the riverside meeting in July for another month. Otherwise we need a date.
  20. Hey Rick...was that walker..............narrrrr...........space shuttle , I think. Took your mirror off.!!!!!
  21. Great turn out last night. Good to see so many supras at the meeting. Big welcome to mark and becky. Hope you enjoyed it and come to others. Your car looked great. The previous owner did a good job on the re-paint and nice blending of the front panel. Just need a big single conversion like robs. Quick think by rob last night as the lady came out of the premier inn to see if there had been a terrorist bomb go off when he lit up his car. Typical play ground shout. "It weren't me missis.... It was that red one". Great. Food and service was very good last night. Personally I think it weren't as good "sleepy hollow" near Manchester airport and I think we should return there. But just heard there filming the new "valley of the dead" there so that's out. Ian has suggested we return to the riverside at weaverham whist its summer so let's do that. I'll post a date up shortly when I have a look at the calendar. For those who have not been before its a lovely setting right on the banks of the river weaver. Paul and Christian and me could cast a line as we have fishing in common. Must check the pre-emptive word suggestion of this phone. I will always remember that roundabout as haddock roundabout from now on. I will still try to organise a BBQ up at the farm but just about to have some building done at the mo and the lane is pretty bad for anyone with a really low car. Rob is coming to detail my car soon so he might be able to melt some Tarmac lumps on his way.
  22. Ha Paul. Come off m6 at a580 East lancs road turn left towards Manchester. Straight over roundabout ( not literally you can brake) 300 meters traffic lights turn left. You'll see it. On left
  23. Wa33jd. East lancs a580 haddock roundabout head for Manchester. On left hand side next to premier inn.
